Kelsey has been my black-and-white tattoo artist for a couple years now, I followed her from her previous shop. Not all the black-and-white tattoos in the picture are from her, but the majority of the big pieces are, the shoulder magnolia, the pomegranate, the vase, the gap, fillers, and an anatomical heart that you can’t see. I love the vibes of this shop, it’s amazing, and even has a shop mascot, wiener dog. I love this place, and it smells like ice cream because it’s above an ice cream shop. What more could you ask for?

One of the best tattoo shops I’ve ever been to located right here in Baltimore, Maryland. I had the opportunity of getting tattooed by Fran Massino and am happy with the incredible work he did. His tattooing process is very detailed and he takes into consideration a lot of factors that make it look as aesthetically pleasing as can be. I can see myself returning some time in the future for another piece. His Japanese style tattooing is like no other and I’d recommend other check out his Instagram (@franmassino) to see some of his latest work.

ALEX_Sabur!!!! (Follow him on IG)Where to begin?
I received my first (9 hour) piece from Alex in 2013... Many years have passed, I have moved to New Jersey, and still find time to make my way down to Bmore for m'boy every blue moon. Since 2013 I have received about another 10 hours from him and will not go to anyone else.
Alex as a person: Alex openly takes the time to evolve as an artist, AND evolve as a person. How does that matter? The outcome of your work translates PERFECTLY into the vision you thought only you could see in your mind. I consider him an all encompassing tattoo artist, not someone who traces from one idea and slaps it on your skin.
With Alex, you have the opportunity to watch your idea form into a reality. For my most recent tattoo, I asked for 2 Namakubi with afros on the upper back thighs - not easy to describe - but once completed, EVERYONE understood and (greatly) appreciated his work. A coworker drove down with me, came in with ideas-ish, they communicated for a while, he gave his honest opinion about placement and such... BOOM! She is getting even MOAR compliments than me! She cannot stop showing me her (Both forearms and top of one foot) tattoos: They are simple, yet specific. Very clean and well done, IMO.
When it comes to Alex's capabilities? STUPID GOOD! *imagine me kicking the air while saying that*
Alex is clean, patient, professional, listens and triple makes sure you are happy before his drawing touches the tracing paper. He is also amazeballs with lines and is fast (thank you, baby jebus). When he is tattooing, you can feel how even he is on your skin and doesn't press hard like he's trying to ink up your effin soul.
Last point: I was at a bar in Bmore the night before my session, the bartender and I were talking about tattoos, he has a BEAUTIFUL elephant on his forearm, and we all were drooling over the detail. He asked where I was going to get my tattoo and I said "I only come back for Alex."
He said "That's who did this on

I would love to give a review on the actual shop, but unfortunately I never got the chance. Once I emailed the shop inquiring about a tattoo, it took them a while to respond. I understand it gets busy so that didn’t bother me much. However, when I was told to email the artist I was interested in directly (Logan) it took her about a week to respond and I had to resend my email. Then, after I responded to THAT email, she has yet to respond after over a week and me resending my email. I will be getting my tattoo at a different shop (Red Thorn Tattoo). They responded promptly, were respectful, and seemed genuinely interested in my business. Stay Humble seemed like a really cool shop though, so it’s really a shame.

Andrew Vidakovich is a creative and conscientious tattoo artist. I came to him with my idea and he explained what would work better and I appreciate the care he takes in his craft. It’s easy to make an appointment via email and the shop is conveniently located in the Hampden neighborhood.

This shop and the artists that landed here are truly gifted and they each are masters of their own particular style. The atmosphere is extremely pleasant, peaceful, positive and even comical at times. Great vibes and personalities. You are lucky if the universe has granted you a tattoo session here.

If you are looking for an amazing tattoo shop, look no further this is your place. Drove about an hour and a half to get my tattoo done by the talented Dave Wah. The drive and possible waiting list is well worth it. Studio was super clean, great ambiance with a super friendly staff. During the whole process I felt welcomed and at ease. You will not be disappointed with the amount of talent that is in that shop. Look at their website or at their social media pages for the specific style you're looking for. Wah created a beautiful portrait of my dog that means the world to me. Once it's all healed up I will update with a picture.

Very awesome shop. I was tattooed by Andrew and he was so kind, quick, and just overall pleasant experience. There's plenty of available street parking too considering it's in an urban setting. Would go again.

I went to diego at stay humble for my first professional tattoo, which was a coverup on a small stick and poke. In addition to not covering my original, 1 inch stick and poke tattoo, he went so far into my skin with his needle that it made the ink bleed around my tattoo. It will not go away. When I mentioned this a few months after my tattoo (because it wouldn’t go away and I was getting concerned), he said it was bruising and skin heals at different rates. I just went in to a different shop yesterday for a consultation about covering it, and i found out from the new artist that my skin is not bruised, the ink bled because he went far deeper into my skin than he should have. I feel taken advantage of knowing that diego knew it was my first tattoo, and instead of owning up to the mistake of going too deep into my skin, he lied to me; it makes it seem like he thought I wouldn’t know any better because it was my first one. Additionally, diego never asked for a consultation to even make sure he COULD cover the original stick and poke tattoo. It was all very careless.

I had a wonderful experience with Diego while he did a guest spot here in VA - professional, clean, stunning work. He brought a wide range of unique flash and made sure I was happy with placement before we started. While having my shin blasted wasn’t the most comfortable experience, Diego made sure I was okay and let me take breaks through the tattoo. He wrapped my leg really well and was just as stoked on the piece as I was. He even gave me a few stickers, pin, and a print - super kind dude, beautiful work, crispy clean lines. One of the best, highly recommend. I hope he comes back soon so I can book with him again!!

I unfortunately did not have a good experience when I was tattooed here. He had not prepared to work on my tattoo at all, and quickly and hurriedly tried to draft before he had started. The area that was tattooed was not shaved by the artist before he begun. He was very rough with my skin which led to a really bad infection, so bad that I couldn’t walk. And a lot of color fell out and he had promised to fix it but he did not. He seemed like he was rushing a lot because he was leaving the state soon. The work that was done was very unfinished and I made sure to ask that certain things would be finished- and it was not during the touch up visit. Choppy blown out lines remained as well as inconsistent shading. I try my best to respect artists and I paid the full amount rather than “budget” but i received a piece that was not worth the price I paid unfortunately. I’m sure this is a rare occurrence here, but it’s upsetting because I was very excited to get work done here. I’d rather be refused service than get something that isn’t good, or rushed. The tattoo was supposed to be a cover up and he told me that cover ups aren’t supposed to cover up the previous tattoo completely, just overshadow it. I understood what he meant but he took the mile here. I wish this experience wasn’t awful but I felt like there was nothing that could have been done. I had already asked for something and didn’t receive. I plan on going to another shop to get the tattoo finished and properly touched up. The artist was Doom Kitten. The fact that he didn’t take a picture of the finished work was very telling of how much he cared.

Everyone I have met at the shop is friendly, helpful and cool. Stay Humble has done a great job of creating a welcoming atmosphere. Fran's work is outstanding and he is great to hang out with as he works on my tattoo. The process of watching him freehand sketch on my arm to a fully realized piece of art is inspiring. I couldn't be happier with a shop and and artist.

After my experience of attempting to setup an appointment with Diego Chacone I'm left thinking this place is less than humble. I was told my appointment would be months away while witnessing this artist post about openings. I spent a considerable amount of time looking into artists in the area. My time is just as valuable as yours so if you don't want to do the art be humble enough to speak to me directly. As an artist I couldn't imagine getting in the way of someone else's dreams.
Edit (in response): Cool story. Stay Humble, bro.
