I got a tattoo from there by Dio, and my daughter got her septum pierced by Maddie. Dio was professional, had great suggestions, and is a great artist. We had read reviews about Maddie that said she was bubbly and she did not disappoint. But she was also very knowledgeable about what she was doing, which made us feel very comfortable. And we can't forget the gentleman who checked us in who was lovely as well. An expanded and clean facility that smelled so good I had to ask about it. I ❤️ walking into an establishment that smells good 🙂.

We had a PHENOMENAL time with Dave! Our 6 year old daughter wanted to get her ears pierced and we did a lot of research before deciding on Big City Body Art, and we don’t regret it at all. Dave was patient, calm, and very informative, guiding our daughter (and us) through every step of the way. My daughter was nervous but didn’t even shed a tear thanks to Dave’s gentleness. The aftercare instructions/package were so helpful. The facilities were clean and beautiful, and we are going to recommend Dave to all our friends for their kids’ piercings!

Hands down my BEST piercing experience ever! My previous experience with a different business somewhat traumatized me. Dave provided me with a vast amount of knowledge as a seasoned piercing expert, so I felt much better after talking with him moving forward. Scheduled my new piercing (flat and helix) and it did not hurt at all. I was like wow! Maddie (additional piercing professional) was in there as well and she is super sweet and knowledgeable, made me feel very comfortable. Maddy was Great! I recently brought my daughter in for her first piercing. A nose stud for her birthday. Maddy was awesome. She answered all our questions and made the piercing session quite fun. Maddy has a awesome bubbly personality. She is very knowledgeable and serious about her craft. She made sure my daughter was aware of all of the steps she was taking during her piercing session. That helped to calm her nerves alot. The shop is very clean. The piercing area is clean. All tools used on my daughter were clean and santized. They have several jewerly options. Wouldn't recommend for belly piercings. I got a belly piercing here 10 months ago and this was my first piercing since I got my ears done. The guy in the lobby was professional and had many years of experience, which was shared during our initial chat. However, the piercing itself is slanted, which I noticed right after I got it. He assured me that this was "my natural alignment" but even looking in a mirror anyone could tell it's not straight. Now that it finally healed, I could inspect the hidden bottom piercing entrance, and I confirmed that it's about 2mm off center, towards the right. Which doesn't seem like a lot, but it's noticeable. Actually, my friend pointed it out the first time he saw my piercing. And thinking this was a fringe case, my sister also got her belly piercing done here about two months after mine, by the same guy. It's even more slanted which is really defeating. We're both girls with innie belly buttons, and we're of an average height and build, and slightly below average weight. Nothing should've been too difficult or unordinary for an experienced piercer. I've never left a bad review before, but I was very disappointed by this shop's repeated mistakes.
