Heather is amazing! Her work speaks for it self (meaning amazing) and she takes the time to take your ideas and turn it into an amazing piece of art. I was nervous but she does everything to make me feel comfortable and calm.

I got a large leg tattoo from Heather at Rivers to Roads and I can tell you now that it will not be my last! My tattoo took two sessions and each one was a wonderful experience. Heather is a delight to speak to and even enjoy some silence with. Nothing felt awkward or forced having her as an artist. The shop is clean, has amazing natural lighting, and is private. Heather is the only artist there so you never feel like there is anyone listening in to your conversation or about to barge in at any moment. I had loose parameters of what I wanted because I wanted her to interpret the elements into her art styling and I am so delighted with the art that ended up on my leg! I literally cannot stop staring at it! My bat looks so realistic and sweet and the details on the bat and the florals are just so refined and stunning. 10/10 experience at Rivers to Roads!

She made a very comfortable and relaxing environment to get tattooed in as well. On top of all of that, she does amazing work. Her attention to detail and composition is otherworldly and her ability to hand draw on additional details as the design needed is beyond amazing. Heather is an incredible artist and a really cool person to get a tattoo from. Last year, I got a perfect tattoo of my little dog Coyote from her at Rivers to Roads Tattoo Shop. It took a good chunk of the day, and it was a total joy to hang out with Heather in her shop, watch the birds check out the bird feeders in the windows and look at all the amazing art by local artists that she displays. Every time I look at this tattoo is makes me laugh and feel so happy! It cracks up and amazes all who gaze upon it. It truly looks exactly like Coyote and well captures his personality. I will definitely work with Heather again. She came up with the tattoo design herself, it is just so amazing!! I can't say enough good things about this supremely talented, chill person.

This was my first tattoo. Heather was wonderful about explaining all of the steps to the process and ensuring I was comfortable at every stage. The studio is wonderful in terms of design, vibe, and comfort. Could not have had a better experience. If you are looking into getting some ink done for the first time, this is definitely the place to go.

Heather at Rivers to Roads Tattoo Shop was wonderful! We had been conversing via email during covid to set up an appointment for a rib tattoo I wanted. Heather was prompt in responding to me, patient with answering my questions and professional. Heather did a wonderful job, made me feel very comfortable in the studio and was patient with me when I needed a break during my sessions. Her artistic ability is amazing. I gave her the ideas of what I wanted and she drew out two designs for me to decide between. She was flexible with making changes (although I didn't need many) and 100% grasped what I was trying to achieve in my memorial tattoo that I wanted done. She was respectful given the area I was having done and made sure I felt comfortable during both sessions. The studio was clean and private and welcoming. I highly recommend Heather and will be back to see her again for more work!

Heather does amazing work! Just check out her portfolio. That said, my first (and as of now only) tattoo was my dog’s paw print on my arm. It’s small and simple, so I was worried that she wouldn’t care as much about it since she is so used to doing larger and more intricate tattoos on people. Not the case at all! She put every effort into it the same as if I were getting a complicated sleeve. She took her time with it, gave me options, and also genuinely put a lot of care into this tattoo. Any future tats I get will surely be done by her!
