Some friends and I were visiting Salem this past weekend and walked by Merk and noticed that they were accepting walk-ins during the month of October, so we spontaneously decided to get tattoos to commemorate our trip and I could not have been more pleased with our experience! From start to finish, the entire experience was A+++++. The shop was immaculate and clean beyond belief. Maliea did all of our tattoos and I am still blown away by her talent and in awe of the piece she did for me. The detail is incredible and unlike any other tattoo I have. I wish I lived in Salem and could go to Maliea for any future pieces I dream up! She was so friendly and professional and made sure that I was comfortable the entire time. If you’re wanting a tattoo, this is the place to go!

I don’t even know where to begin. This is the most beautiful tattoo shop I have ever seen!! I just took a shot and walked in, being October in Salem I wasn’t sure if I would even get a spot. The previous comment made by the “Karen” was completely miscommunicated and untruthful in her review. I was in the shop and was that “clients that changed her mind” (which i did not) She was told she would be the next walk in and she came in complaining about the wait WHILE I WAS STILL IN THE CHAIR. She was in fact “next” but obviously doesn’t understand that QUALITY SHOPS take time to design, set up AND tattoo. Sorry you wanted a quick $20 tat. This isn’t the shop. It’s professional and amazing. Gabby is absolutely AMAZING and is the SWEETEST person!! I couldn’t recommend this shop more. I emailed THREE SHOPS almost a month ahead of time for an appointment and they were the ONLY to respond. The owner is awesome and runs a great-vibed shop. I will for sure we revisiting for another one on my next trip!

The shop is extremely clean. I came by last night and was told to arrive by noon today to get in as a walk-in. I arrived at 1130, 1207 someone arrived. I was told she would be there at 1230 and to place my name on the list and that it would be about an hour. I overheard the conversation between them I put my name on the list and waited in the area. I go back by ay 145 just to progress. I’m then told she arrived late and just set up for the girl before me. The client changed her mind. That’s fine! They should have text me to let me know these issues. All I could get was then everyone saying it wasn’t their fault. Gaby is human and was there until 2am. Again, ok. Do not put the blame on me. All that was needed was an update. I’m threatening because I said it was fine , not my fault either and I’ll just leave a review. Now I’m “one of those “ aka “ Karen. Also, I leave many positive reviews. I rarely post a negative. I see why witch city was recommended way more. I wish I had got on their list.
