Stopped in to get new piercing ball... it was confusing but finally purchased. They insisted I have a box and a bag, which i didn't want or need and told them, but they insisted. Facility was clean and orderly, counter staff was a bit uninformed. Thanks, will be back for additional items.

I usually don't write reviews, but I wanted to hype up Splash of Color. I have never had a tattoo here, so I can't speak to that but I did go twice, each time for a piercing and each time with a friend. This is the best studio I've been to for piercings (I've been to 4). Our piercer Andy and the front of house were all friendly and helpful. Andy explained everything thoroughly, hosted a little Q and A for us beforehand, was careful to line up the piercings well, and demonstrated clean and safe practices. It's true, the prices are not marked visibly (this is pretty standard) but the front of house will add up the jewelry and piercing service cost and let you know your total right away when you ask, before anything is set in stone. Yes, it's a little more expensive, but personally I know I would rather pay for a pleasant, quality experience because I've had some not very good ones.

Extremely sneaky with their prices. Charged me $125 for a 1 inch tattoo, while I have a 4 inch all color tattoo that a different artist only charged me $120 for. Wouldn’t recommend this place for a college student. Ink & Needle South charged my sister $60 for the same tattoo…
