My husband and I started going to Jason D. and we love his work/hanging out. I let him just do his thing, and we are always pleased with the outcome!

I worked with Ruby, and she was wonderful! She was so kind and understood my nerves for a first tattoo. Everyone I met in general was just wonderful!

Nick Sage can do cover ups and does great line work. He's a real nice guy and will talk through your problems. A car guy too. Great shop. I will come to see you again.

I have had three tattoos sessions at this place totally over $1,200. I scheduled a fourth appointment, I canceled the appointment. They said I should get my $100 deposit back since I gave them a lot of notice. I got a call two days later saying im not getting my deposit back because they said I signed something saying I wouldn’t. Would be nice if this was explained. I will never go back to this place or recommend anyone to go there no. Terrible customer service.

Shawn is from northern Michigan I remember him tattooing in his mom's kitchen. Boy how things have changed. He does beautiful work and his artists look good too. Congrats on all your success!!

Very satisfied with the work Ruby did on my daughters spine tattoo. My daughter went here for her first tattoo, and it turned out exactly how she envisioned it. From email chain, to consultation and finally to the actual appointment Mos Eisleys was exceptional.

Jason was professional, kind, and created a design that was exactly what I wanted. Mos Eisley is top notch. Highly recommend.

Came here awhile ago thinking about a custom bicep tattoo that I might eventually want to build into a sleeve. The guy drew it up on my arm said do you like it? I'm sure if I finished it, I might have but Covid hit, so I was stuck with basically a pencil drawing greyline and I began to hate it. Laser removal is 10x more expensive and painful. This place is horrible and was an awful experience for a first tattoo. 1) the fact that I wasn't given a rendering or a drawing and was put on the spot to decide whether I liked what was drawn on my arm with marker. Most tattoo shops don't do this and make sure you really have decided on your piece. This place is really not that good and definitely not worth the money.

Went in to schedule an appointment and give the artist what I wanted to have done. Put down a $100 deposit and was told they'd be in touch. Weeks went by hearing nothing until the night before the appointment when the artist sends me something totally different than what I asked for. Told them I'm not getting that and no longer wanted to work with them and have since been ignored every time I try to get my deposit back. There are a dozen better tattoo shops in Grand Rapids, do not go here.

Reached out and then was ghosted by the staff. Highly unprofessional. Although it worked out I found a great artist at honest to goodness and my tattoo is amazinf.

I’ve had 3 previous tattoos here all with good experiences, but I was canceled on 30 minutes before my appointment by my artist and the date they rescheduled for me didn’t end up working out so I had to call to reschedule. I didn’t leave a message when no one answered my call and I called back again after my appointment time had passed leaving a message. The next day they called me back and told me that they had claimed my deposit and it was considered a no call no show because I didn’t leave a message. I was incredibly disappointed to here this because my artist and the employees there have all been great in the past. It felt like a slap in the face when my initial appointment was canceled last minute, which I was very understanding of, but when I needed to reschedule my calls were completely over looked.

Mos Eisleys is truly the only tattoo studio I go to. The owners and artists all have high quality skills and standards. Not only will you walk out loving your new artwork, you will be back time and time again. If you are looking for clean lines, one of a kind artwork, thoughtful artists and an amazing atmosphere look no further than Mos!

I've got piercings done there when I was younger and have known people who got great tattoo work done. Will likely use for my next tattoo job even though there are dozens closer to me.

I've been going there, and only there, for all tattoos or piercings for over 20 years. Shawn is a great guy and has always kept solid, talented people as company. Kind of like barbers or hair stylists they are genuinely nice and easy to talk to while you're getting work done. In most cases you're going to have to wait a little while for an appointment because the artists there have a lot of clients in queue. All of them are great artists and have varied primary disciplines and styles they enjoy and thus have honed an impressive depth of skill in (check out the artist profiles on their site or stop in and ask about who might be the best artist to work with on your project or piece). Attempted to set up a tattoo appointment using their online contact form. Someone initially contacted me with questions regarding the tattoo I was looking to get done. I responded to their questions and then they stopped communicating. Sent 3 follow up emails and received no response. What’s the point of having an online contact form if you’re not going to respond to people? Guess I’ll take my business elsewhere.
