I explored Drunken Monkey after a bunch of disappointing consultations for a coverup. I knew this was my home after the artist shared his vision for my back piece. My first piece with Jero was two wonderful sessions. I fell in love with this artist's work. He shared a vision for my half sleeve which was a partial coverup. We expanded to a full sleeve! I am completely in love with this piece. His additions are absolutely incredible. We didn't stop there ...Jero drew up a fabulous piece that would be perfect for my leg. (Picture attached) My experience was 5 stars! The shop is always clean and was prepped for my session upon arrival. Not only would I highly recommend this artist, and the overall team, but I would call this my home. My experience was full of laugher and the shop always filled with uplifting vibes. I received nipple piercings from this shop earlier this year in May. I’ve known about the shop for years and figured they were great at what they offered. I was wrong. I reached out to a master piercer recently and he informed me that they didn’t even pierce my nipple they pierced my areola. His exact words “There's nothing correct about that piercing that is not a good piercing at all. They did not use the proper size jewelry they didn't even pierce your nipple they pierce your areola.” I should’ve known something was wrong when the piercer didn’t even have me lay down to get my nipple piercings. Once I researched, I found that was the first sign that the piercer didn’t know what she was doing. Also one nipple I had pierced 3 times due to it being off and I still wasn’t satisfied. I would not recommend anyone to receive piercings from this shop.
