Minneapolis Tattoo Shop

I have LOVED my experience here. So far I have one new piece and Nikki just finished fixing a previous tattoo I got at another shop in my youth and it looks like a whole new piece. Very detail oriented, professional, clean, and incredibly warm and kind staff. I can’t recommend them enough.

Nice people there. Food is a winner.

I was scheduled for a consultation with Nikki which I scheduled MONTHS AGO!! Tried calling to confirm (since they don't) and no one ever answers the phone or return's phone calls, POOR BUSINESS PRACTICES, LOUSY CUSTOMER SERVICE!!

Clean, sanitary, lovely artists! I've gotten two tattoos here and will surely be back!

Great atmosphere! This was my first time getting a tattoo and Sarah was so patient with me and continued communicating with me throughout our session. The piece is beyond my expectations and we were able to talk about the design prior to starting and I cannot wait for the rest of it to be done.

Had an issue with a tattoo from a past artist and the owner was very professional and kind in handling it - she definitely cares a lot about her shop. Very cool that it's a woman owned and operated business:)

I’ve had a number of tattoos done at Mpls Tattoo. Nikki is a fantastic artist, and the way she’s been able to bring my idea to life in tattoo form is second to none. What can I say except AMAZING! I had a while ride with my appointment, after an artist suddenly left the shop and didn't follow up with me. HOWEVER the shop followed up with me to make sure I was still able to get my appointment. The owner ended up doing my tattoo, and honoring the price I was quoted originally. Nikki was AWESOME- friendly, hard working, and diligent. She paid great attention to detail and making sure the tattoo fit well alongside my existing tattoo. She even touched up the previous artists' "character" (poor line work). I felt so comfortable the entire time, everyone was so friendly, and I was never afraid to ask questions or to take a short break. If you're considering going to the Minneapolis Tattoo Shop- DO IT! It's more than worth it!!!

Very frustrated that they do not answer their phones. I had a consultation appointment that I made 3 months ahead and put in my phone calendar. I thought it was kind of weird because I didn't get any sort of reminder or confirmation close to the appointment so I decided to call just to double check. I am not exaggerating when I say I called them 7 times at various times throughout the day an hour apart. They never answered.... I had also emailed them since they weren't answering the phone and I got an email back about 30 min before my appointment. When I got there, the door was locked and it said you had to call them on the phone to let you in. Surprise, they didn't answer the phone... so I waited outside in the cold for 20 minutes, Trying to get ahold of someone to let me in. Eventually someone walked by and let me in. Very frustrating. Definitely won't be coming back to this shop just based on that. The artist herself was very nice. She is starting her own shop so I will be following her.

Everyone here is very nice and professional. I felt very comfortable being there. I got a tattoo from Sarah and she’s AMAZING. So sweet and a great tattoo artist.

Had my first session with Sarah and it went great! She was fun to chat with and was patient and gentle. The shop has a great aesthetic, the artists are fun and talented, and everything was very clean. Can't wait for session two! Follow up! I had my second session with Sarah to add shading, highlights, detail work, and color. Went amazingly! Once again a fantastic experience.

HUGE ripoff. I originally scheduled 3 appointments 6 months in advance. I put down $300 ($100/appointment) deposit & was told at the time that I would be refunded my large deposit if I moved out of state. Due to Covid I moved out of state a couple months before my appointments & called MULTIPLE times requesting a deposit refund. Jolene at the studio left me a message assuring me that I would be refunded, however that never happened. Now I’m out 300 bucks simply because I moved across the country. Extremely unprofessional to lie to a client

I'm in love with my tattoo! Rebecca did an amazing job and I'm so happy with how it turned out! Very clean and friendly environment :)

Heather did a fantastic job with my tattoo to honor my mom. She was kind, and hilarious. I highly recommend her.

Have seen Heather for multiple tattoos, she is amazing, and despite the pain tattoos provides she manages to make it a really enjoyable experience and a lot of good laughs. a lot of good laughs.

Got in for a consultation with no problems. Shop was clean and the tattoo artist was nice and upfront. Couldn't get in before my wedding but hope to use them in a future

The shop is super friendly and welcoming. Nikki is a great artist and an awesome person, she also has gentle hands! All the artists are great and will work with you to get the design you really want. I highly recommend this shop if you're looking for a realism, trash polka, neotraditional and or fineline work tattoos. "Good tattoos aren't cheap, cheap tattoos aren't good"

It wasn’t exactly what was designed, but that is part of what I live about this tattoo. My artist interpreted my ideas and made them her her own, it was everything I could ask for and more.
