Honestly was a huge fan of their work but their customer service needs work. Had an appointment scheduled for their "Galentine's Event" and paid a deposit, but unfortunately tested positive for COVID-19 2 days before. I figured it would be wrong to ask for a refund, but when I asked for the deposit to be put towards another tattoo, I was told my deposit had been forfeited since my #1 priority wasn't calling them to let them know. I was under the impression my priority of healing from the virus was okay, but apparently not for The Tattoo Coven. I even offered to show proof I tested positive via Dr note. Save your money/deposits and take your money to a shop that has sympathy for their clients.

Tattoo Coven is by far the coolest tattoo place I’ve ever been to! Nikki and Sam and the crew are some of the best artists I’ve seen! Nikki does exactly what I want, every time. She’s great at suggesting ideas as well. What makes them stand out above the rest is their place is open and light and fun to get tattooed at. The vibe is not dark or heavy or angry. I love the music and vibe there. This is the only place I will go! I love Nikki and them so much that I’m willing to drive 2.5 hours. I’m from Kansas City and there are a ton of amazing artists here. Hands-down the best tattoo shop in town. I’ve been tattooed in 6 states and I’d return here if we ever moved- no matter the distance. The atmosphere is kind, friendly, and calm. No negative attitudes, judging, intimidation…which I have felt at other shops. Aside from the fact that the work is impeccable. I see Sam for all my black and gray needs but everyone there is top level. I can’t recommend them enough and would go every day if I could afford it 🧡
