Phil is a true master. His ability to create what I envisioned is incredible. The healing process is a breeze! Barely any swelling or bleeding which tends to happen when I get bigger tattoos. I officially won’t let anyone else tattoo me as long as this man is in business. Best tattoo conversation I’ve ever had as well. An all around stand up guy with amazing talent.

A remarkable, indescribable experience. Phil’s work speaks for itself (just look at my picture and tell me that’s not the coolest tattoo you’ve ever seen). Phil took my small idea and ran with it. I also stayed at his guest cabin—the coolest, cutest place. He even let me borrow his canoe to float the nearby river. I can’t wait to go back. I used to be spoiled having Phil in Salt Lake City. Now I have to drive 8 hours to get tattooed by him, which I've done and will do again. Amazing artist, super quick tattooing without sacrificing quality, and fun to chat with during your appointment. All the things that worry me about getting tattooed don't exist at Sole.

Phil was my artist in Salt Lake. He's an amazing person and very professional. I have 3 pieces done by him and won't go with anybody else. I also had some commission work done by him for which I'm very happy with. If you think twice and not contact him today, you might get hit by a bus tomorrow. You will be more than satisfied with his work.

Phil is an excellent artist, and tattoos are not his only skill. Montana is richer because of his artistry. I have collected three extremely well executed tattoos from Phil. He is a kind soul, too. Highly recommended.

Phillip Lambert is an incredibly amazing human being!! He is an amazing artist that will work with you to get the tattoo you want. I wouldn't trust anyone else to put a permanet mark on my body other than him. He answered every (stupid) question I had. Was an incredible person to talk to while he dug needles into my skin. Phillip Lambert is an amazing and SUPER talented artist. Not only does he specialize in tattoo artwork, but he is also amazing at sculptures, drawings paintings, and basically anything that has to do with the creative side of his brain. Once he has an idea he absolutely has to try it out, not even if it seems impossible. So if you ever get a tattoo by this man you are very lucky to have such a unique piece of art on your body, especially knowing it's done by him!!! ➡️OH!!! Beyond amazing. What started off as a simple appointment for a palm sized skull turned into many appointments for a half sleeve, armpit and upper back piece. I have both color and a black and grey piece from him with the back piece being a portrait. All of which I get asked about or get comments on about how realistic and amazing the likeness is. Because of the great artwork I received I have recommend him to several friends and family who all have had just as great experiences. i would highly recommend him to anyone looking for artwork.

I waited several years to find an artist who could put on skin what I held in my heart and in my head following the death of my husband. What I received is so much more than I could have imagined! Sole Tattoo is a completely unique experience for tattooing. Tremendous thought and talent are present in his work; the shop is small, intimate (not interrupted by walk ins), very clean! Truly destination tattooing!
