Nhi Phan and Quinn DeRuiter are both talented artists and thoughtful business owners. Their care and compassion for each other, their clients, and their space shines through at Empress Eye Tattoo. So far, I have only had the pleasure to receive tattoos from Nhi, but hope to get into Quinn's books in the future. > Wanted to update this review now that I have received a beautiful tattoo from Quinn! Again, a top notch experience from a lovely artist. She was very knowledgeable and helpful determining a placement for the flash design I had picked up from her. The placement was in a slightly vulnerable area, but Quinn made me feel at ease and safe in her private room. I can’t wait to get more designs from her! Nhi has made me feel so welcome and at ease in her chair that I keep coming back! My first experience getting a tattoo (not with Nhi) was terrible and it took a long time for me to feel comfortable trying again. I now have 7 tattoo with more on the way and have never felt better in my skin :) Thanks to Nhi, I've finally been able to make my body look the way I want it to without fear of judgement or unwanted comments. I can't wait to continue to work with Nhi over the years.

EVER 🤌🏻💙 Please let me take a minute to talk about the best tattoo experience I have ever had in my life!! ❤️ Yesterday I had my 1st appointment @empresseyetattoo and let me tell y’all!!!! The shop ALONE has the cutest, most welcoming, colorful, warm reception area ever. There I was greeted by my artist Nhi! She showed me to her room and it was SO CUTE!!! Nhi is the type of person that immediately makes you feel comfortable! Every step of the process, from reserving my design and deposit, to the actual execution of her art, she is so professional, talented, funny, kind, and just so easy to talk to! Empress Eye Tattoo is Absolutely Amazing! The experience of being tattooed by Nhi, the perfection of the entire shop, and the comforting and friendly atmosphere is beyond words. I, like many others, have almost all of tattoos done by Nhi. That is no coincidence. She is a phenomenal human, artist, and business owner. I ALWAYS feel comfortable in her presence. Her art is beautiful and I constantly get compliments on my pieces. During my most recent tattoo, I was able to meet Quinn. She had such a kind presence, also making the atmosphere welcoming and just like I was hanging out with friends. She popped over to check out my tattoo, compliment, and show off some of her VERY cool tattoo ideas. If you can spend time in this shop getting some beautiful artwork added to your body, you will not be disappointed. I would say you’ll enjoy the experience and atmosphere so much you won’t want to leave!

Not only is the talent within this shop unmatched, but the top-notch customer service that comes from these amazing artists is rare to find in tattoo shops. Nhi’s co-owner/business partner, Quinn is also an insanely talented artist! Both Nhi and Quinn transfer their beautiful art onto skin so flawlessly and perfect.
