Luna is so so wonderful over here at Arrows and Embers!! She was unbelievably sweet and so kind and welcoming to us! Our tattoos came out absolutely amazing and we will 1000% be back in the future.

Sean is a true artist! I lost my sweet baby girl in November. I have a beautiful lotus flower, which she loved along with her name as she wrote it. I will carry her with me always. Thank you Sean my tattoo brings me to tears as well as making me very happy!

Sean and the entire staff at Arrows and Embers are very down to earth and approachable. I went in for my tattoo and it was a fantastic experience. The entire experience was very comfortable and welcoming. This is a fantastic establishment and I'd recommend it to everyone. Check the work of them of these artists - you'd be shocked at what you can do! Update: the piece came out absolutely perfect! First session healed completely with no issues, with the expectation that the second session will do the same. The next experience was even more accommodating than the first one. 10/10 would recommend to anyone. I won't be going anywhere else.

I can not express how amazing Anastasia is! I haven't had work done in almost 12 years. The work I wanted done was important to me. I had to cancel twice because of COVID issue. The team here was understanding and great. Eventually I got in and was able to start the work. It isn't 100% done but so far it's looking amazing. Yes its take a long time but you can't rush perfection.

I first wandered into Arrows and Embers when it was located on Pleasant Street in downtown Concord about seven years ago. I was looking for an artist to do a cover-up, righting one of my past mistakes, and I went to a couple of shops whose "artists" said it couldn't be done. However, when my then-girlfriend (now wife) and I went into Arrows and Embers, we met Sean and he was immediately optimistic and excited, yet tempered and realistic. We discussed ideas and settled on something which turned out fantastic after only two sessions. This tattoo goes from my armpit to my waste and you would never know it covers another. Needless to say, we were ecstatic and I have since never considered another artist. I've since had many more tattoos from Sean over the past seven years. In my humble opinion, he is the best of the best. Anyone who has given him a bad review should really take a good, long, difficult look in the mirror (because chances are, if you think everyone else is crazy, it's probably not everyone else!). Some people are just plain unreasonable; it really is true that no matter your disposition, you can't please everybody. That said, Sean is easygoing, very easy to talk to about anything and exceptional at his craft. If you are considering getting work done by Sean, be prepared to wait or book your appointment as early as possible, as he is often booked out for ten months to a year in advance. Considering this, his prices are more than reasonable; in fact, he could easily command a higher price and people would pay it. if you are looking for flash tattoos from wall posters, don't bother because Arrows and Embers is a custom tattoo shop. If, however, you are looking for art that makes you happy every time you look at it on your skin, then you couldn't pick a better artist or a better shop. Just had a watercolor tattoo done by Anastasia and my mind is blown. I sent her some pictures and gave her a description of what I had in mind - and what she came up with for artwork is incredible and unmatched. It is far more beautiful and detailed that what I had envisioned and captured what I wanted perfectly. I am in love with it and want a full sleeve (and more!) from her and only her.

usually don't write reviews but this time I will. Sean from Arrows and Ambers in Concord, NH did a couple of my previews tattoos and recently i have asked him to just embellish an existing one and add one new. Unfortunately, my request was declined by him and the reason being the tattoo was too small for him to be bothered with. Very unprofessional and disappointing in my opinion since I thought I was a previous customer and there is nothing on the website citing "only big project" accepted.

One of the best shops around by far. Everyone from the owner to all the employees (and even other clientele) are all extremely friendly and the shop boasts a great atmosphere, and incredibly talented artists, of course. Will Self is my artist as I lean towards Japenese styles and he must've been reborn as an artist 7 times, as his extensive knowledge on the art itself, and of course skill, is extraordinary and must be one of the best, if not already, top oriental style artists based out of NH. Such an awesome experience with Will Self. Tattoo came out crisp, bold yet detailed, and just beautiful. I’m pleased with it forever :) I truly appreciated Will’s knowledge and feedback to accommodate the best possible options on the design I wanted, and making sure I was comfortable in the process. Will is kind, talented, and a blast to spend time with while he’s mildly torturing your dermis. In the best way possible of course. The vibe is very friendly, chill and professional, and very clean. Recommending to anyone looking for fantastically skilled ink and an experience worth more than money can buy. Thank you whole-heartedly Will, and all of you amazing artists at Arrows and Embers.

Anastasia is the real deal. I am super pleased with the entire experience. Her collaboration on my ideas was perfect and I could not be more happy with the results. She did one piece in February and my second from her was completed this week. ...just can't say enough... The entire shop is filled with pleasant, fun people - Anastasia fits right in.
