I can’t say enough good things about this place! First, booking and communicating through Marcela was SO easy. She responds so fast, and is always a ray of sunshine! I had a custom tattoo idea that was a replica of a drawing a family member made me. Matt did not hesitate to take on the job. Not only did he NAIL it, he was so sweet and patient the whole time. I was nervous but they both made sure I had everything I needed and we just talked the whole time. The price was extremely fair and I have not one complaint. You will not be disappointed!!! I definitely will be coming back!

I literally couldn't be happier with the tattoo I got from Sam! Her fine line/single needle tattoo work is absolutely stunning, and she made for great company while she was working on it. This was my 4th tattoo, but honestly it put my other 3 pieces to shame. I just keep staring at it, I can't believe something so beautiful is on my body. I highly highly highly recommend getting a tattoo here- absolutely worth the wait and every penny I spent. I'll definitely be back when I'm ready for my next one. Thank you so much Sam and CryBaby!

I was just showing off a tattoo I got there. No joke, it was long time ago. It has to be at least 27 Years ago. I swear you would think it was done just last year, bona-fide truth,1994. I'm gonna try to post a picture of it. Maybe on Google Maps, I think. It's a timeless, Purple pink rose, with a brown stem and golden highlights on the petals. There is a tiny bit of touch up needed. It actually covered a scar from an injury I received in the navy. Timeless. It was done by Joslyn? I'm not exactly sure, how to spell her name she was an apprentice when I got it.

This is the best place to go to get tattooed! I had a small tattoo on my wrist that I wanted to cover up and add to and the end result is beyond my expectations. Matt did an amazing job and the amount of skill and talent he has for tattooing is unreal. Besides getting an amazing tattoo, when you’re there you have a good time. MarCella, the receptionist, is so friendly and fun and you can talk to her and Matt the entire time. It’s also very clean-everything is new for you and what can’t be replaced is throughly cleaned. I have another appointment in August with Sam and I can’t wait to get back there. Definitely the best place to go and the only place I’d recommend.

I couldn’t of asked for a better experience. I had Sam do my tattoo. I gave her the idea I was looking for and she did an incredible job making it come alive and incorporated my granddaughters names in the tattoo. It’s absolutely beautiful. Sam is so outrageously talented. I got my first tattoo here and was amazed at the care, gentleness, and expertise I received. Communication was extra clear the whole time. Reviews stating the opposite are a bunch of grumpy people throwing a fit that they can't get whatever they want for free. I SO appreciated Sam's advice about my tattoo design and placement (being a newbie, she was able to help me consider things I wouldn't have thought of). I look at this tattoo constantly every day and I'm in awe of how gorgeous it is. I can't believe this beautiful design is on MY arm! I would never get a tattoo from a different artist or shop. This is exceptional service. I really still pinch myself when I look at my design. The line work, the shading... PERFECT. 😍😍😍

Very clean, professional, and comfortable environment. Matt, MarCella, and Sam were so friendly and knowledgeable, and made sure my first tattoo experience went smoothly. I was very anxious about the whole process and they made sure i understood every step of the process including aftercare. They gave me awesome feedback on my design and how to make it keep it's shape with time. Granted this was my first tattoo experience, I was totally blown away by their attention to detail and care that went into my tattoo. Definitely gonna come back for my 2nd!

Hello! Sitting in the shop after getting my second tattoo with Matt. First, Matt is very talented and professional. He will take a tattoo you like and make it a tattoo that you love. The receptionist, MarCella, very Brooklyn, in accent and mannerisms. She is so sweet and passionate and down the earth. The whole environment makes me feel welcomed and safe and for a person with anxiety and autism that is priceless and very hard to do LoL

Matt's done all of my tattoos so far and I'll be going to him in the future. I just love how i can go in for all the pokemon tattoos i need

I seriously cannot recommend this place enough! matt has done two AMAZING tattoos for me and i have booked a third because i trust him so much. i will never go to any other artist as long as he’s around! he listens to what you want and exceeds expectations every single time! the environment there in general is also super fun and welcoming thanks to MarCella! i will always tell everyone to go to crybaby tattoo

I got my very first tattoo with matt when I was 18. Matt, I don’t know if you remember but it was a tribute to my friend and I remember you had mentioned that I was one of your first clients because you were apprenticing at that time! I love seeing how far you have come with your Instagram posts! I have been flaky on my last tattoo appointment but Sam was so accommodating and knew I was a college student and didn’t have a car. She was so sweet and I absolutely loved her. I came back again and did a dragon tattoo on my left arm! I recommended Matt to my friend after i had gotten my tattoo. It was a wonderful experience and they are so accommodating and professional!

Absolutely outstanding. I've gotten 2 decently-sized tattoos from Sam over the last year (April & November) and she's absolutely amazing. In fact, I love everyone in the shop! Shout-outs to MarCella and Matt for enhancing the experience. <3 I love MarCella's stories and friendly banter, it honestly helps so much to distract from the physical pain when everyone is chatting and having fun. I chose Sam as my artist because I found her portfolio on Google and I instantly knew she's the one; the quality of her work is consistent and deserving of every accolade. I would probably be here every 2-3 months if she had more availability, I cannot overstate how much I love this place. It's clear that they care about their clients and want us to feel as comfortable and content as possible. I see a few negative reviews about how CryBaby Tattoo handles deposits and I don't understand why. MarCella was extremely clear on the phone and reiterated multiple times how the policy works, so I had a very fair experience. I understand tattoos can be expensive, but you get what you pay for so you should discuss your expectations with the shop before you commit to an appointment.

I had the artist Matt do my tattoo today and I absolutely love it!! He pays very close attention to the details. My sunflower is gorgeous along with the rest of my tattoo of course!🌻 Thanks again Matt for another awesome tattoo! Another pleasant experience at your studio!

Edit: I had to edit this review bc just avoid the drama and DO NOT GO HERE the owner is rude and unprofessional as you can see from her response to my original review below, as well as her response to every other negative review left for this business. They don't tell you they charge by the hour unless you ask, and when you ask they have an attitude, and they didn't inform me i would have to pay extra for my tattoo to be finished(???) until i called to make a second appointment. They are being deliberately shady about where your money goes and when you ask questions they are unnecessarily rude. Nothing about that is honest or upfront. I was never planning on going back and my review was more so constructive than negative and now I'm banned from going there? how does that even make sense. Pease do better for the sake of your other customers. Original: I've been going to this tattoo parlor since 2018 and since then they've changed a lot of their policies and now it just feels like a scam. They have a $150 minimum deposit policy that they say goes towards your tattoo but definitely doesn't. I paid $330 for a tattoo that wasn't finished and then when I called back to set up an appointment for it to be finished they told me I would have to pay a second deposit, or I couldn't have my tattoo finished. Other than that Matt was great, love him as an artist individually, or I would've left just 1 star but the new policies they have are a complete scam. I would suggest shopping around before deciding on here, there are a lot of places that will not charge you crazy deposits for equally good, if not better work.

Went to get matching tattoos with my little brother. It was my brother's first tattoo and Matt was SO friendly and patient and made sure we felt comfortable every step of the way. Not only is he super nice and personable, Matt is a great artist and did the fine line work on our tattoos perfectly. Scheduling was also easy and the studio is very clean.

Crybaby has been my home for a while now. Sam has tattooed almost my entire portfolio of tattoos. I could not be happier with my experience in this shop. I always feel welcomed and like I am treated kindly. When I have to call the studio, MarCella, the receptionist is always efficient and sweet as can be. Highly highly highly recommend this studio.
