Black Dahlia Tattoo Studio

I had such an amazing experience at Black Dahlia with Sarah. From the very beginning, even just requesting an appointment with Sarah, she was nothing short of kind and professional. She's quick to respond and is extremely talented. I completely trusted her creatively with my piece and I could not be happier with how it came out. The sketch she sent me absolutely blew me away, I showed everyone I knew because I was so excited!! The shop itself is so clean and cute, and I felt so warmly welcomed the second I walked in. Although this wasn't my first tattoo, Sarah was so kind to walk through every single step and process with me before we started tattooing and during the entire process as well. She made sure I was comfortable for every step of the way and I can't thank her enough for the gorgeous piece she gave me. I will definitely be back to continue my collection at Black Dahlia!!

Such a nice clean place, very large too, everyone is beyond nice. I got tattooed by Chris Mesi (@chrismesitattoo on instagram) not only was his tattoo spectacular he explained so much about what he was doing and why, he made it an extremely comfortable experience offering water and snacks. Definitely coming baxk to Black Dahlia!!

I emailed Quinn at Black Dahlia about a tattoo that I had envisioned a while ago (in vague detail nonetheless), and I could not be more thrilled with how it turned out. I’ve had my tattoo only a few days and I constantly get compliments on it. Quinn is a true artist and exceptional at his craft. Any tattoos I get in the future will be with Quinn. The studio itself is a lovely, airy space and welcoming. 10/10 would recommend Black Dahlia studio and Quinn.

I booked a tattoo for my niece with Mike D, for her 25th birthday. It was an emotional piece for her to get, and Mike captured exactly what she wanted. Mike was professional, and a really down to earth guy. We felt like we were in good hands. We are so pleased with the tattoo and the overall experience. I’ve seen Vic Mesi twice now to get tattooed and both times she did an excellent job! Will absolutely come back again. Shop is super clean and the staff is very friendly.

I freaking love this place, and my tattoo artist Mike D. Ive been tattooed in many shops by many artists and this is by far the nicest shop and my tattoo artist is the best! I recommend everyone I know to Mike. I’ve been working on my sleeve now for a little bit and I couldn’t be happier with it. Mike is not only an amazing artist but he is a pretty rad dude.

Professional shop, clean, fun and an amazing vibe. Each artist has their own unique skill set and style. They are ALL very talented and creative. I’ve had 7 visits so far and will continue to patronize as long as I have room. Mike D is great to work with and his style and skill is top notch. Could not be happier. Sarah is an amazing shop owner and Vic, Chris & Quinn are all super talented and fun.

I got an excellent tattoo done by Chris, its still healing right now but it turned out great. Chris absolutely does get back to his clients, just be aware that he is human and can't be there 24/7 to answer you immediately, but will get back to you eventually (even I am guilty of this, regretfully) The shop is very nice, and everyone who was there during my tattoo was friendly and welcoming (it helped they also have similar interests as me, like Anime) If you are looking to get a tattoo from Chris, go for it you won't regret it.

One of my relatives had Sarah the owner do a tattoo & it came out beautiful. My relative went back and had another tattoo done. Sarah told my relative to come back when it healed for a touch-up. My relative tried multiple times & after many attempts to book a touch-up, even missing work for the day, Sarah always canceled. This last time Sarah told my relative that she was not going to do a touch-up, that my relative would have to find someone else. Very unprofessional & rude!😡😡 . My family, friends & I are shocked!!! So just remember whatever you leave with is it!!!! Shame on you Sarah!!!

On the edge of Woodbury, across the street from wonderful Colonial Diner, is this gem of a tattoo shop. A female-owned business that offers a welcome, safe, and clean experience. Explore the artists, each have their own style and specialty. Beyond the artistry, I appreciate that sanitation measures, the friendliness, the entertainment that is lighthearted and non-violent. This place is something special.
