A Touch of Ink Tattoo & Art Gallery

Rick did a cover up for me and I couldn't be happier with the experience. The atmosphere was very welcoming and the shop was immaculately clean. Both Rick and Derrick were professional and beyond hospitable. The shop is by appointment only which for me was a great touch. During our consult, I told Rick that I wanted to start on my sleeve, but some coverups would need to be done. He was able to give me realistic expectations with the use of color and how it would turn out. I was able to schedule for about month later which wasn't very long. During our session, Rick did frequent check ins with me to insure my comfort and reminded me that i could take breaks if needed. He played movies for my teenager who tagged along with me but waited in the lobby (which was a nice accomodation). Rick made nice for conversation as he worked but wasn't overly talkative and wasn't vulgar at all. The turn out was more than i expected. He was able to bring my tattoo to life and turn something i hated into something i love. He did complete aftercare education with me and made himself available if I had any other questions. I cannot wait to continue working with Rick. I highly recommend both him and Derrick. Both of their profiles are incredible & they both hold master's degrees in art. The first picture is what I started with and as you can see, you can't even tell it was ever there. 🥰

Derrick was amazing! He worked with my husband and I on our tattoo design, provided quick responses online and we had an appointment the next day! We'll definitely go back to him for our future tattoos!

Derrick did a BEAUTIFUL half sleeve for me in honor of my son. He is an excellent artist, skilled and kind. I went for a small tattoo to a half sleeve because of the conference he gave me. Rick did a WONDERFUL portrait of my son. His skill and knowledge is the best. His shop is great and I tell that to all who. comment of my art. I wear my memoriam on my skin to my son. Derrick and Rick gave me something very precious. Thank you .

Rick Valdez is a true artist and professional. He has spent over 10 hours working on two cover ups for me. I was more than satisfied with his work and it completely surpassed my expectations. I have 6 previous tattoos from multiple different artists. Rick is my only tattoo artist from now on. I've recommended him to all my family and friends. And I plan on getting some more ink from him soon. He is also an accomplished canvas artist, and his art is hanging in my home. Definitely stop by and see him, you won't be disappointed.

I have been going to Rick for years... he is a straight out an artist! Unlike most places his place is clean professional, drug free. The pictures of the work he has done doesn't do it justice.
