I can't say enough good things about Aces and more specifically, Justin! I moved from Tucson to ABQ and was looking for an artist I could trust. On a friend's recommendation, I connected with Justin. His communication was quick, polite, and efficient. He was on time, extremely friendly and professional. The shop is well-kept, clean, and welcoming. There are a few things I'd like to point out: 1) A lot of piercing/tattoo shops have this weird, elitist, culty vibe that makes you feel unwelcome. This place is NOT that. I felt so at-ease and at home from the second I walked in the door. 2) Some piercing/tattoo shops are, unfortunately, really weird and creepy when it comes to women. I felt extremely comfortable and safe at this shop. Not only that, but I asked if my boyfriend could tag along, and Justin was extremely kind and welcoming to my boyfriend as well. Never at any point did my boyfriend feel like he was a bother. 3) The answer you're really looking for: the quality of work is amazing! Justin re-worked a tattoo that I felt less-than-confident about. From our initial communication, Justin made it clear that I was in very capable hands, and it proved true. I am extremely happy with the quality of the work, but also with his professionalism and care while tattooing. The little things matter. He checked in with me to see if I needed breaks, he wasn't aggressive with tattooing or wiping, and he bandaged my wound with care. Those things may sound silly, but they help contribute to a stellar experience. Again, I truly can't say enough good things about this shop. Justin is a class act as a person and a professional, and I am very grateful for this excellent experience. Thanks, Justin!

I just got a tattoo from Kat/Flower Head, and I cannot overstate how fantastic the whole experience was. She was very easy to work with, friendly, and clearly an expert at her job. The cleanliness of the shop was great, and the covid precautions made me very comfortable with being there. It's a memorial tattoo for my cat, and I gave a very basic picture of what I wanted, and she made it perfect. I honestly couldn't look at it while she was working on it because I didn't want to cry into my mask, it was that perfect. I will absolutely be back for more, and would recommend her to anyone.

Five stars! Ten starts! Twenty! Daveed was VERY efficient in booking. Upon meeting we had a brief discussion about what I wanted for my ink, and, was very professional in communication after. Flash forward to today, Daveed was very friendly and also professional, his line work and shading are on point. He was very patient in my decision making, though it didn't take long as what he drew was better than I'd imagined. When he got to work he was also very efficient and made good use of his time. I gave Bianca Sanchez $60.00 deposit and had to reschedule to COVID vaccine appointment. I call to reschedule she wanted another $40.00 to reschedule. I wish I never walk into the place. No tatoo and feel empty inside. Helping the community is vital to local businnes reputation. Horrible customer service skills. Look elsewhere folks. Stay away.
