I was searching for the right artist to surprise my mom with a piece for her birthday this year. Luckily, I didn’t have to look far because I was following Leo Rivers on IG and was reminded of the great work he does. He set up and appointment for me to come in, see the shop and have my consultation done. He took all of my ideas and brought them to life. We brought my mom on her birthday to have this done and it made her day. The piece was perfect. The atmosphere is top tier, the shop is immaculate, the staff is friendly and most importantly Leo was professional the entire time. I can’t wait to work with him again in the future.

Very clean shop, very nice guys…. However I am quite disappointed and won’t be returning. Spoke to an artist about several things and for this visit had agreed upon a very small piece for my son that was a replica of part of one of mine. This was a very small piece, maybe one inch in diameter and was traced from my arm. Also to have some touch up done on a piece I had done years ago by a different artist. I was told that due to the shop minimum for price, my sons’ piece would be $100 but that he could do my touch up for $50. I paid the $50 deposit, and was told that this deposit would go towards the work done, and a week later my son and I went in for our appointment. Upon completion of the work, I was billed the $100 for my son, and another $50 for my touch up. Quite surprised at a total of $200 for a very tiny piece that resembles a goldfish cracker and some light touch up. This was far too much for what we had done, and I was charged twice the amount I was told for the touch up. The entire tattoo of mine was not touched up, just part, and was not a large piece. Very disappointed and frustrated and will find a different artist for my future work.

Scheduled a consult with Matt and had something drawn up perfectly a week later. Made an appointment and sat for around 4 hours. Great experience. Tattoo is about as real as it gets. Matt was light handed and left little to no areas of the tattoo needing more than about 3 days to fully heal. Already scheduled another consult. One of the best places for ink in the capital region. Parlor was very clean and staff was very friendly. Excellent place

My wife was noticing that this company still had 5 stars even though we had put a negative review. We're not sure how but we think the company has figured out how to hide or delete comments that are less than 5 stars which warrants this negative review even more. Below is the original comment. The only good thing about my wife's experience here was that she was able to walk in without an appointment to get her ears repierced because her original piercing had closed up. There were already spots on the front and the back of her ear where the holes were from the original piercing. The new piercing is at an angle instead of straight back like the previous piercing. Less than a week later, one of the backs of the earrings fell off which means it probably wasn't put on correctly in the first place. After the earring fell out and my wife had to put it back in, she went back into the shop to get another earring. Then they charged her for the other earring and offered to put it on...for another fee of course. They wanted to charge her for something that took 2 seconds for her to do and that they didn't do correctly the first time.
