If you are here on google looking for a place to get your child’s ear pierced, I’m telling you that this is the place for you! After a ton of research, We chose to come get our 4 month old daughters ears pierced with Peter based off the many praising reviews about his work and he truly lived up to them! Peter is extremely patient and walks you through the entire process multiple times before doing anything. He took his time placing dots on our daughter’s ears, adjusting both sides multiple times while making sure to get them in the perfect spot for each ear so that they complement each other and account for future potential growing. Before doing the actual piercing, he practiced with us a couple times to make sure we would have our daughter in the perfect position for him to get the piercing done quick and accurately. He was extremely kind and patient and I will 1000% be recommending him to anyone who needs his services especially with babies/kids, and I plan on coming back to him myself for a piercing of my own. The shop is also inviting and extremely clean. A 10/10 experience!

This is by far one of the worst places I’ve been to in terms of customer service. I entered at exactly 7:10 with my brother in the hopes to get my ears pierced since they’ve never been pierced before. I came with my own earrings and was told on the phone that they had to see the earrings first because their tools might not work for it. As soon as I enter the door, I’m immediately told to leave the area and to wait outside in the waiting area. Even though I only really came for a question to save my time, I was told to leave. They were tending to other guests so I understood and probably assumed it was due to COVID. Not even 5 minutes later, 3 Hispanic boys walk inside and stood inside the lobby for 25 MINUTES. I was shocked because all I had was a simple question that could have been answered in 2 seconds and I waited 30 whole minutes for the owner to come out and tell me he couldn’t do it. 30 minutes if my life I’ll never get back and I feel terrible for having to wait while others were taken in after me and treated differently.

I’ve been getting piercings here for the past 2 years and I highly recommend Peter. I’ve gotten a nose piercing, septum and two lip piercings by him and they all healed perfectly. It was my first time getting my lips pierced so I wasn’t sure how long I had to wait to get them changed (my starter bars were pretty long after the swelling went down). I went back after 3 months to see if I could get them changed but it takes roughly 8 months for them to heal, I didn’t come back to get them changed until 9 months later just to make sure they were healed correctly. Also during this time I kept the bars in cause I didn’t want to risk the holes closing/getting infections. Aftercare was the same for all my piercing until they healed.

Went there yesterday, and the person that appears to be the owner is bomb. Glad that I went to get my ears pierced there. Since then, I have been spreading the word. Hoping to have my friend get hers there. Unfortunately we are all the way at the tip of uptown Manhattan, so not sure if she’ll come through. This place is not too much of a walk away from work, so I will certainly stop by if I get any new piercings or get re-pierced.

I had my 1st nose piercing 3 months ago and it was so good and not painful at all. Peter was amazing. He was careful and explained everything from which type of jewelry to how to care for my piercing. He sent me all the information regarding the healing process and said to reach out to him if I ever need anything. Honestly, my piercing healing was great I had absolutely no trouble with the piercing I even forgot I had it on...that was until my baby pulled it out and that irritated my piercing and created a recurring, constantly bleeding bumb. I reached out to Peter and he was soooo helpful and guided me through the process. He suggested what to do and I followed up with him. And it took 3 weeks for my bumb to completely go away but if he hadn't guided me honestly it would've most likely been wayyyy worse. Thanks sooo much Peter!! Your amazing and truly care about your clients.

Lovely experience. Went to get my septum pierced and Peter was patient, knowledgeable, professional, and kind. He explained everything every step of the way so that I knew what to expect. It was also very apparent that he cared about his work, and his clients! 100% recommend!

The piercer was very easy and comfortable to talk to, he was helpful and informative throughout the experience. He cleaned/sterilized the equipment in front of me and explained the process as he was piercing my ears, which shows his professionalism and that he was trustworthy. I got 2 extra ear lobe piercings here for a reasonable price, definitely planning to come again for more one day. So I highly recommend this place if you're considering getting piercings :3

Amazing place. I was very nervous about getting my nose pierced since in the past I’ve always bleed from previous ear piercings but this time I had not a single drop of blood. I was completely in disbelief!!! The gentleman that took care of me was so patient and made me feel at ease (I wish I could remember his name). They also had a variety of different piercings to choose from and also he let me choose how I wanted the inside of the nose piercing to look which was awesome. Will definitely be coming back for more piercing and will definitely recommend!!

I highly recommend this place. You will always leave with a great experience. I have been here various of times to get my piercings done. All of them have had a great healing process, no keloids. Peter is simply amazing. When it comes to positioning your piercing, he takes his time and ensures that you are happy with everything. If you have questions don’t be afraid to ask. Just follow the instructions he provides for the aftercare and you will do great.

I don’t normally write reviews but studio 316 Tattoo & Body Piercing deserves it because they are exceptional! They have a beautiful selection of body jewelry and best of all they are open on Sundays! I ran into this gem on a Sunday, thank goodness. So first things first, originally, I got my nose piercing with a gun at a random jewelry shop (BIG MISTAKE) because after a month, the piercing started to sink in because the place that I had gone to originally had used the wrong type of earring to pierce my nose, and they had also pierced it too tight (please don’t ever get a nose piercing with a gun it will always end up sinking after a month as explained to me by the body piercer, Peter). Also, always go to a professional piercing shop it’s better to get one straight from the experts than to just get one at a random spot the way I did. However, (drum rolls) this is where studio 316 Tattoo & Body Piercing comes in — luckily Peter was a lifesaver and was able to fix it with a titanium pin. This place provides sanitary and great professional service. Peter is meticulous and patient. You won’t even feel a pinch or any pain whatsoever. Peter was so gentle in removing the old nose piercing and adding my new one. I honestly couldn’t even believe how quick and painless the process was. In addition, he also does a great job of explaining the proper after care on how to take care and clean your piercing along with instructions via text as well. He also follows up with you to make sure that your piercing is healing properly. Overall, really warm, friendly, sanitary and professional atmosphere. I highly recommend anyone to come here if they are looking for a spot to get a body piercing. Plus, they also have reasonable prices. Someday, I’ll get a tattoo here as well! 😊

I had my helix pierced here two weeks ago. This was my first piercing (besides ear lobes) and I am very glad I went to Peter at studio 316. I had done some research about cartilage piercings, but there was a lot I didn't know and Peter guided me through the healing process and helped me figure out the exact angling / location of the piercing. The piercing was very sanitary and I've had no issues with the healing process so far (especially thanks to the great cleaning instructions from Peter).

The experience was good but I had nothing to compare it to until a few days ago. I had my cartilage pierced here 3 months ago and was excited about it since it was my first real piercing, however, the healing process was terrible. The piercing was infected within the week, it was crooked which created bumps on both sides of my ear, long story short, it had to be removed. Now I’ve gone to an APP (Association of Professional Piercers) piercer, I had a very different experience! He told me it was done at an angle and with a top-heavy earring, and that’s why it’s still hurting 3 months later. So, save your money and search the APP site for a piercer in your area. The APP piercers are held to a very high standard, are required to participate in continued education, while maintaining an extremely high standard of care.

I got my two eyebrow piercing a year ago and it healed just great, along with my lip piercing as well, Peter is always informative with what he is doing and has always answered any questions I have, I 100% recommend him, he is also very clean with his work. I have taken 3 other friends with him to get piercing and they can all say the service is 10/10 always makes me feel like nothing could go wrong.

My nostril piercing is the only piercing I’ve ever gotten that has not become infected, and I love the way it turned out. Peter is incredibly knowledgeable about what he does and was unbelievably kind and patient in a way I will never forget. Cannot recommend him highly enough.

I got my tongue piercing by Peter. It was really fast, clean, and he explained about the whole procedure and aftercare really well. I have quite a lot of piercings, so ofc I've met many piercers. And I'm sure he was the best one I've ever met💯 I'm gonna visit again
