Best Tattoo shop in the area. Friendly staff, profesional artists, great atmosphere. David is the best at what he does. I have no problem letting him decide what the design needs to looks like. Never fail to impress.

Loved the atmosphere. Matt did a great job reworking the design of a tattoo idea I sent him, then worked with me on size and placement. I didn’t feel pressured to hurry and decide on the tattoo, but he worked with me and made me feel comfortable and at ease. I drove 2.5 hours to get here from central Virginia; I love this place and I will definitely be back!

I had a great experience at Welcome Tattoo! I did their walk-in Saturday because I knew exactly what I wanted, had a picture, and my friend has had great experiences there. I suggest lining up around 10:00 for walk-in Saturday which is what I did. The sign-up sheet was put out at 11:00 and I was messaged at 11:30 to come back at 12:00 when they open for my tattoo. I was the 5th or 6th person in line and they had 5 artists tattooing that day so it was a quick turnaround for me! Based on the pictures I sent in after signing up, Matt drew up a beautiful design that was exactly what I wanted. Everyone there was extremely friendly and I highly recommend Welcome whether you are newer to tattoos like me (this was my second tattoo and much bigger than my first) or if you’re a pro.

Friendly and clean; felt safe there as a trans person. Even offered me some candy when I was wilting during my 5hr session. :)

At Welcome, tattoo artists are so professional and GOOD! They have always delivered a tattoo which was greater than what i expected. I love their location and the natural lighting adds to the modern studio vibes. I always get a good feeling there bc it’s not dingy, dark and shady- it’s clean, modern, and durham’s most awesome tattoo shop. Prices are always fair for their art and well worth it. Has always been a really great experience!

Welcome Tattoo is the best shop in the triangle as far as I'm concerned. Excellent artists who are safe, consensual, clean, and all around nice people. I have tons of tats, and have gotten several stand alone tattoos from Kohen and am having him complete a leg sleeve for me, and every time I go in it's one of the nicest studio experiences I've had. 5/5

A tattoo on the side of fine lines was done beautifully. Of the five 4 were fist timers and Eric was absolutely pleasant with all of us. Highly recommend

I went to a Saturday walk-in and the experience was great. I was texted when my appointment would be and the process once I got there was smooth. Matt did a great job, and it was my first tattoo. Seamless.

5/5 would recommend. First time experience with getting a tattoo and Jacob @jrptattoos was awesome, patient, highly skilled. Quoted a three hour table time and finished in less than 90 minutes for two tattoos on both thighs in solid black. Very happy with how they came out, discussed what I wanted and executed perfectly.

This was my first tattoo and the experience could not have been better. The staff was welcoming, answered all my questions and put me immediately at ease. My design is amazing, exactly what I asked for. The place was spotless, I had no worries about cleanliness. I had a visiting artist and he was amazing. Can’t wait for my next one!

Everyone at Welcome is incredibly inviting and helpful. The studio is clean and folks there seem to really enjoy their work. Eric is a great artist and good at checking in and taking breaks when needed. This is my third tattoo here (two previous ones from Kohen) and I'll definitely be coming back.

They are honestly professional and have an inviting environment as well as they are engaging into conversations that is beyond awesome. I would honestly say this will be my tattoo spot and not planning on going to anywhere else

I had a great experience at welcome! I got on the wait list on a Saturday and was given an estimated time to come back for my tattoo. The shop was so clean and my artist was awesome! Eric had extremely perfect lines and I couldn’t be happier with my tattoo!

Me and my boyfriend went for walk in Saturday and they were awesome! Matt did both me and my boyfriends and he finished both of them very quickly and they looked awesome. I was a little nervous getting my first tattoo but I was glad we went to welcome because I love it! Will definitely be coming back to get more done here!
