Love what he was able to do for me, gave me what I asked for, worked quickly and carefully and hit the nail on the head with this, and was super nice through the whole tattoo, will most certainly be coming back for my next one.

I have been reaching out for months trying to find an artist that could do the tattoo i was envisioning in my mind and no one was wanting to do it. I reached out to Clayton and he was super friendly over the phone and said he could get me in the same day. I was so excited. Got to the shop and he was super friendly. We got what i was wanting drawn up and i loved the result of the drawing. He made it a fun process not something that you just sat through. He makes you feel included in your own decision. He cleaned his work space very well before we started and it made me feel like i made the right decision even more. We started the tattoo process and instantly felt like i had to pass out. He noticed and had me a drink and an orange in a heartbeat. He gave me time to get my blood sugars back and balanced. And then we got back to it. He had a very light hand and when i needed a break it was no problem! Found my artist i was to do all my pieces! Such a great shop and would recommend to anyone!

Had an amazing experience at elevate tattoo. J Clayton was a professional artist who took the most attention to detail on my forearm tattoo, which I will return to have him complete a full sleeve. He was patient and just as professional with my son who also had a side piece done right after mine was complete. The work on both pieces were immaculate! Highly recommend to anyone interested in having artwork.

Clayton is the BOSS!! This guy has done almost all of my tattoos and has never let me down. This particular project was a trash polka logo design for one of gaming communities. He killed it! Super fast and well worth the price.

My siblings and I went in for matching tattoos with slight variations. Even though we had marked with a sharpie how each tattoo would be unique from each other, he still managed to mess mine up, ruining the design. He then tried to fix it and made it so much worse. My siblings and I then left and went to another tattoo shop. I never should have let him try to fix his mistake, I should have just left immediately. Currently looking to get it covered up, because it looks so bad and I hate it. I would never recommend this place to anyone I know wanting a tattoo. (Mine in on the left, the correct version on the right)

Clayton made me feel uncomfortable. He did the typical move of putting his hands on my hips to get me to move over instead is saying excuse me. He was dismissive of our questions and invoked toxic masculinity. Worst of all, he messed up my sister’s SIMPLE matching tattoo. He was so careless. Thankfully he didn’t charge us after messing up, but now she’s forever stuck with a tattoo she hates.

Clayton is fantastic!! Stop by and see him!!

Man, Clayton is a real professional. Amazing artist, doesn't waste time, and has great chair-side manner. I've been getting tattooed by him for 5 years now. 15+ hrs I've spent in his chair getting big pieces done. They've all turned out great. Absolutely the best experience you could ask for from a tattoo artist. Couldn't recommend anyone more than him. Top shelf.

My friend got a tattoo from Clayton! The way he was talking while Tattooing here and also found out later on that he took pictures but inappropriate ones! Wouldn't trust him to do a tattoo on me or any more of my friends

First off im leaving this review bc this guy seems awesome!! I haven’t gotten any work done from him but i did get a tattoo somewhere else and had problems with the saniderm and leaving residue inside my tattoo!! This was the first place i called and he told me to come in and he’d help me. He seems like a honest man and from what i see on the website of his work looks good as well!! Id recommend. Very thankful he was able to help me!
