Kari is the absolute best, and most professional of any tattoo artist I’ve ever been to. I’m so happy with my new tattoo, and she is super considerate during the entire process.

Kari created a beautiful piece for me. We had a meeting to discuss ideas and thoughts for the project and I was so thrilled with the final project. She has a great little studio and I enjoyed my time with her. I will definitely be coming back :)

Kari is a very talented and creative artist. I gave her the theme I wanted and the artwork she produced was more beautiful than I ever imagined. This was my first tattoo and she made me feel very comfortable. She has a very soft touch and I felt very at ease the entire time. Her studio is very clean and welcoming. Her personality is charming and friendly. I am constantly getting compliments on how beautiful my tattoo is. She really went above and beyond. I will definitely be back for my second one in the future. If you’re looking for a professional, talented artist, I highly recommend Kari.

I love my tattoo! Kari was great to work with. I chose to get something from her book that I picked the day of the appointment and it wasn't an easy decision because there were so many great designs to choose from. What I have now is a gorgeous work of art. Delicate line work, incredible use of color and shading. Fantastic.

Not only am I totally thrilled with my new tattoo and can't stop looking at it, I loved the experience! It was the first time in a LONG time I felt like I didn't have to worry about not being cool enough for Portland tattoo shops! Kari just made me feel super comfortable and I loved the space. The tattoo itself is so vibrant, my 12-year-old says it "looks fake!" I can't wait to get some more added to it and get all my tattoos from Kari in the future.

Kari is a truly magical artist who can help realize tattoo goals into beautiful works. I now have two tattoos from Kari, both are nature inspired and have special meanings for me. She is a great human to chat with and makes the tattoo process comfortable, incredibly sanitary, and a little bit spiritual :) I will absolutely be going back for future projects.

I had a great experience. The studio is very clean and private and Kari took scrupulous care to make sure my custom design was actually what I wanted—she even read news articles I sent! She’s also way faster than any other tattoo artist I’ve been to. Thank you!

I sent a request in two weeks ago for something that is pretty basic. She finally got back to me today saying she doesn't do "simple" tattoos but if I wanted something more complicated then sure! So beware before you spend the time getting your stuff together just know she's too busy for basics. Also babe, I'm not going to have you do one of the bigger pieces I have in mind if you're going to be snotty about something small or take two weeks just to say no. (I am glad she sent me a rejection in the end because I love knowing who absolutely not to trust my "basic" permanent body art to.) Edit: I guess she has plenty of time to monitor her Google reviews seeing as she responded to this way faster to this than to tell me my tattoo was too basic for her. Personally if I would have seen a review that says "takes forever to get back, rejected tattoo idea because it was too ~uninteresting~" even if someone wasn't a client I would have saved my time and energy so I'm hoping to do the same for someone else.

Kari is an extremely knowledgeable and totally sweet human! I’ve gotten 6 tattoos from her and it’s always a fun and comfortable experience. Kari’s style and color work are incredibly unique, you will never be disappointed!

Kari is one of the kindest people I have ever met. She has amazing skills and is a magician with color. I got a new tattoo on my chest for my birthday present and then she fixed the color problems I was having on an old tattoo and it looks even better than it did when I first got it! She checked in with me during the healing process as well which I found extremely thoughtful. Her shop is private, colorful and super clean. I will definitely be recommending her to everyone and I will be going back to her in the future!

Kari is an incredible tattoo artist who worked with me on an anatomical heart piece— celebrating my successful heart surgery. Her conceptualization of the work with me, her skill set, attention to detail and depth of artistic vision, gave me more than I even know to ask for. Kari was pleasure to spend time with, and was consummately professional. Simply inspired work, and I receive so many compliments too! Photo 1 was the day of the tattoo. Photo 2 is three weeks later. Just a stunner!

Kari was great about capturing the vision I had for my tattoo and taking it way beyond what I could have imagined in all the best ways. Her creativity is pretty outstanding and her personality made for a great overall experience as well. Plus her studio is in the coolest wooded area ever!
