This is by far my favorite tattoo studio in Portland! Always a comfortable, welcoming, and inclusive environment with a great vibe. I’ve been a client of Mikal’s at two previous shops, and followed him to BlueOx only to find so many other awesome artists. Kati is my go-to artist and does amazing work. She’s super easy to work with, methodical, communicative, very detailed, and an all around delightful human. I’ve also never had difficulty booking with her, which has been such a relief. I’ll be going back again and again!

Went to this shop kinda on a whim, this is down the street from our airbnb and we walked in and made an appointment for the next day. I got a custom tattoo done and my friend with me got a flash tattoo with slight alteration. We both saw Liana and it was the best tattoo experience we've ever had. They were so sweet and accommodating. The price was downright shocking for the quality and size of our tattoo.. Very fair and low pricing. We were just visiting from CA but we would 100% come back to Portland just to get tattooed by them again. -Two satisfied customers

Erica Finley ROCKS MY SOCKS!!! No seriously - I sat down with her to discuss an odd idea that I had for a full sleeve that involved two landscapes mirroring each other. I gave her the rough idea, but then insisted that she put her artistic twist on it to make it her own. I love her style and think that she is an amazing artist, so I was fairly certain that she'd knock it out of the park. Well.... she absolutely did!! It turned out even more incredible than I could have ever imagined and I can honestly say that I'm totally in love with it. I get hammered with compliments and questions about it all the time, which only further attests to the quality, and ultimately her ability as a tattoo artist. I'm already dreaming up the next one for her to do. GO SEE HER!
