I had a couple appointments with Jace & loved the cover up he did. So I put a deposit down for another piece to be done in 2021. Day of appointment he cancels (no baby sitter) which is ok. He told me he would make me a priority on openings. Couple months go by, no word from him. So I reached out and he acted like he was going to get me in as soon as he could, then just left me on read. He also kept my deposit. I don’t know what his deal is, ( didn’t want to do the piece or what) but from reading these reviews & how he claims all the bad are “false reviews” I would steer clear because you just don’t know what your going to get. Very unprofessional.

Set an appointment for October 11th at 9am (he set the time and date) and paid the $210 down payment. Showed up to the studio 15 minutes early and he wasn’t there. So I waited another hour and 20 minutes and still no one. He wasn’t returning my messages either. So I drove home all the way back to the south side of bend. I messaged him and told him I wanted my down payment back, expecting an argument but he refunded me with no issue. He had an emergency with his daughter is what he told me. I just wish he would have texted me telling me we had to reschedule so I didn’t have to waste my gas and my time. I just want others to know that it looks like he isn’t good with morning appointments and to make sure to confirm that he will be there(which you shouldn’t have to do anyway). It was just very unprofessional to not tell me that he wasn’t going to be there. A waste of my gas and my time. It was my moms birthday tattoo btw so that was ruined. Do your research before booking.

What can I say?! Jace is so good. His artwork is amazing and he is just fun to be around.

Jace is an amazing artist and very light with his hands. Session went awesome and his work has me awestruck and can't wait for our next session!!!

Jace is absolutely amazing at what he does. I have been working on a sleeve with him this year and he has done such an amazing job. It is so much better than I imagined it could be. His lines are great and his attention to detail. He is friendly, professional and brings your vision to life in his tattoos. He is truelly one of the best around.. I cant wait for the end results and I will continue to go to him for all my future tattoos. I highly recommend Jace to everyone!!

Jace is a crook. I advise anyone to look elsewhere for a tattoo artist. Bailed on us 30 min before tattoo time and won’t return deposit. **update** Jace will put “false review” but he’s lying. I uploaded pictures of our conversation where he admits to canceling min before the session then lied about returning the deposit. This guy is a crook and I know he’s done it to other people. He is the only artist in the studio because he is not liked at all in the tattoo artist community. STAY CLEAR of this dirtbag

Super detailed and patient. Takes his time but quick and steady. Can tell he loves what he does. Will not go to another studio. Hands down the best!

I was really hoping to get in for a consultation for a piece I've been thinking about for a few years. I reached out 5 times over the course of 2 weeks, and got zero response whatsoever. I emailed you twice via your website, sent you a PM through your Facebook page, and left 2 voicemails. Besides dropping in, which tattoo artists seem to really hate, I don't know any other way to get your attention in order to give you my business. So, this review is not based on work done, it is based on your communication, or rather, lack thereof. It's really disappointing, because it looks like you do great work.

Jace agreed to $400 for background tattoos on my upper arm. On the day of my appointment, traffic was bad and so I messaged him to let him know I was going to be 10 minutes late. The appointment was within the half hour. He then messages me and says he won't be in the studio today and we need to reschedule. He schedules me for 430pm weeks later and works until 6pm and does about an 8th of the work he agreed to. He was tired and annoyed and his lines where shakey and sloppy. At this point i have given him the full $400. He said he would go over them again at our next appointment, and asks for another $150 at that time. He schedules me for 430 again. I tried messaging him over several weeks to reschedule to an early appointment time and he ignored me. The day of my 430 appointment I sent him a message saying again, that I want to reschedule to get the whole thing done. He tells me to have someone else finish the tattoo and then blocks me. Insanely unprofessional and childish. Hope people see this and avoid Jace. He is shady and disrespectful. He's only out for the money and has either lost his passion for tattooing or never had it in the first place. Update: jace claims that we agreed for $400 dollars for an entire sleeve. This is false. It was less than a half sleeve. There are preexisting tattoos on my upper arm that cover the face of my upper arm, all I wanted was background and the back of my arm. You can call it a quarter sleeve. He agreed to 400 dollars total and shook my hand. Then proceeded to not hold up his agreement. I have attached pictures of our messages, and everyone can decide for themselves. I never once insulted jace, I was more than respectful. I keep attaching pictures to this review that prove that i was respectful and in the right, but *somehow* they keep disappearing a day or so after I post them. I wonder why...

My best friend just got her tattoo covered with this lovely work of art. Let it build her confidence and increase others interest for this artist.

I have seen Jace now twice, for my tattoos. I am sold. He has the lightest hands, outstanding performance and his hospitality is off the charts excellent. I will not be returning to anyone other than him. I highly recommend his company if you are looking for impeccable work!
