I was visiting my brother in Seaside from California and decided to take a leap of faith with my second tattoo. I had him call The Lucky Dog for a dealer’s choice design with a location of my choosing. While slightly nervous because I knew nothing about the artist, I’m here to tell you that Travis is a gifted artist with a enchanting line style and pop doll collection. Nothing about this tattoo was planned and it somehow ended up matching my first tattoo on my chest. I was blown away by the design when I first saw it, and promptly decided to have it placed on my calf. My only regret is that I can’t see it; this tattoo was completed in less than two hours and the attention he put into detail on it in that short time span blew my mind. Travis is affordable, personable, and has years of experience doing this. It’s a cash only business; I possibly like this better than my first, and I paid a quarter of the price for it (I’m from California.) I’ll be coming back and getting another from him next year, without a doubt. Call and make an appointment because he’s quite busy, and walk-ins aren’t available. I got lucky with a day-before scheduling.
