I cannot say enough good things about Mantis. I live on the opposite side of the state, and would rather make the 3 hour drive to see Mel than have anyone local tattoo me. In the 15± years I've been visiting Mantis, she has done several original pieces as well as fixing old terrible ones done by other people. She is a delightful person and the gentlest tattoo artist around. It's been wonderful seeing the shop grow and move to a new bright beautiful location! Staff is knowledgeable and friendly, every time I visit for new ink I have a great time. The shop is clean and colorful and filled with unique artwork and talented artists. Also, the piercing crew (Coyote & Kate) is pretty stellar- they really REALLY know their stuff and can hook you up with really cool custom jewelry. I love Mantis Tattoo and look forward to evwry visit there!
