I got my first non-earlobe piercing (a nostril piercing) done as a walk-in with Mads and cannot recommend her/the shop enough!! She has a real talent for putting you at ease, and is simultaneously super fun and incredibly knowledgeable and professional. She made the whole process as literally and figuratively painless as possible. The whole shop has super good vibes, with lots of fun art and decor everywhere. Everything is very clean and sterile and Mads had a lot of insight into not only how to care for a new piercing but also what materials are best for future jewelry. I have kind of sensitive skin and have had issues with my ear piercings for years, but my nostril piercing has had nearly zero irritation whatsoever and has been healing beautifully so far (the included picture was taken a few hours after piercing). All in all a wonderful experience that I cannot recommend enough. I’ll absolutely be coming back for any future piercings I get!!
I went here for my first tattoo. I have been wanting a tattoo for years and knew Ron's work from a shop he used to work at. When he opened his own shop, I loved the progress of his and his crews work. I originally scheduled with Lindsay but after discussing my tattoo she knew Ron was the better fit for the style I wanted. I love the honesty and could not be happier with my tattoo. Ron walked me through all the steps, aftercare, and answered any questions without judgement. Got a mandala/henna style tattoo- it had a lot of detail and I will need to go for some minor touch ups after healing but Ron guarantees his work and does a great freaking job. Will definitely be a repeat customer!

I got a tattoo from this place, the healing was weird and I was told I can come in for a free touch up. I was suppose to go March 4th & was told a day before I need to reschedule because, they moved their calendar around and scheduled someone else the same time and date. I’ve been waiting since March 3rd for the girl that has done my tattoo to even message me back about a rescheduled day. This is very unprofessional and I will be going elsewhere for someone else to do my sleeve tattoo. I thought a sleeve Tattoo as well started with artist doing the outlined work of the entire arm? I wanted my characters to look like they belong together & this person wasn’t doing that either and they only tattooed me two characters. Very disappointed. The tattoo however other than then weird spot that needs touched up, came out great.

This place was recommend to me by a friend, Reber. Called in to schedule an appointment to get my daughters ears pierced and was told no appointment was needed, just walk in. Showed up at 7pm, 1 hour before they close and was told no walk ins were being accepted. 30 minute trip wasted. Definitely do not recommend this place
I’ve been tattooed at almost every other shop in the area, hammer and nail, visual addiction, rapture, laser fang, drop of ink, never say die. All are better options.

Mads is the only professional piercer in the area, that I know of, that is willing to pierce a child’s earlobes (with birth certif and ID to prove parental status). More costly than the mall but far more precise and hygienic. Mads is every kind of thoughtful and considerate and I’d recommend her to anybody.
What did I go there for: New jewelry for my eyebrow and nose piercings on a Saturday afternoon.
Mads greeted me as I walked in the door, friendly and with a smile. When I went to explain what I was looking for, she knew what it was before I even said it (shorter eyebrow)!
Not only did she have a selection, but I asked if she could change my nose jewelry for me, and she had time right then and there to take care of it for me.
Great atmosphere, amazing vibe. All jewelry was wrapped in appropriate sterile bags. She gave me some tips for thread-less jewelry, and when I said I have trouble buying jewelry because I don't know the terminology (for sizes and such), she said to send her a social media message and she'll let me know if it works!
Finally, pricing was incredibly reasonable. Next piercing/tattoo for myself or someone I know, Mermaid's Mark is going to be my recommendation.
Thank you so much for the wonderful experience!!!

First off they only accept cash. Second off I don’t expect this review to influence you but here we go anyway. Weirdest experience I’ve had getting a tattoo. The guy who gave me a tattoo was not cut out for the business. Sure he gave me a tattoo but he was incredibly awkward and when I mentioned I was a fan of a particular band that’s when things got weird. He proceeded to call me and the lead singer sheep. I shrugged it off as it was entirely too awkward to keep talking about. I will never go back there in fear of seeing that dude. Not fear for my life but fear for the non awkward atmosphere I usually bring. Just go to #MachineHeads in Lemoyne

I went to Mermaid’s Mark previously for a piercing and had a lovely time with Mads, who made me feel right at home and was very personable. So when my best friend came for a visit and said she wanted tattoos, I immediately contacted them. Unfortunately, we did not have a stellar experience.
I called into the shop and asked if they had any openings for walk-ins that day. The person on the phone stated they did and so we went there. We were put with Todd, I believe. He never introduced himself. I only saw the name on the certification on the wall. He immediately seemed annoyed that we were there, even though he agreed to take us. He asked us what we wanted and where. Her and I agreed that we wanted very simple line work and text on the ribs. He then was very condescending and said that he will not do that because tattooing ribs is difficult enough without someone moving around in the chair. He made the assumption that one/both of us couldn’t sit through it. All of my work was covered at that time (I am well-covered in tattoos), and felt this assumption was not at all fair in my case. This was my friend’s first one so I definitely understood that. Not wanting to argue, we just took his word as the professional and went with the inside of our upper arms.
During both of our tattoos, and especially after it was clear that it was my friend’s first tattoo, this guy had absolutely no bedside manner whatsoever. Again, seemed super annoyed that we were in his chair. It didn’t make her feel welcome or comfortable. If I attempted to make conversation or say something, I was met with literally no reply except for when I asked how much it would cost us.
When I tell you these lines are shaky….whew. They are SHAKY. No shading. Simple line work and text. I even waited until any swelling subsided to write this review just in case I was wrong. The tattoo wasn’t even done well even with no movement on my part.
After my friend finished with her tattoo, he gave her absolutely no instr

This shop is amazing. It has a very clean and comfortable atmosphere. All of the artists are very nice, professional, and very talented. It has been 7 years since my last tattoo and now I'm hooked on these artists. My husband was so pleased with their work that he also decided to get a half sleeve. I highly recommend this shop and all of the artists here.

Madelyn is very professional and the business is very welcoming. Very sanitary and nothing felt awkward or rushed. I walked in at 12:00 and was pierced and out by 12:15 ish (including lots of talking on my part and some paperwork).
Madelyn is very knowledgeable in her craft. I would definitely recommend this location to anyone looking for piercings.

Love the vibe here, I knew Ron from my last tattoo artist who I no longer go to. Ron did a cover up on my calf, and I could not be happier. He's a cool dude who just wants to show off his work, and give people the tattoos they want while seeing everyone in his shops succeed. I'm getting the rest of my Japanese tattoo finished on my calf, and I can't wait for his master piece. I recommend this shop despite what the bad reviews say!!!!!!!!

Ron was wonderful to work with! My cousin and I were so glad he helped us out and gave us an awesome tattoo experience!
Ron did a fine job adding extra color to a tattoo he had inked on my arm some years back.

Mads did a fantastic job on my double forward helix piercing! Will be back!
Went in on a Friday to get my daughter's nose pierced. New in town from Florida. So excited to get her nose pierced since her birthday was the next the day the big 16. We were turned away saying they could not pierce unless 16, even though my husband an I explained her birthday was tomorrow. They explained they also needed a birth certificate. Sad that although both parents were there to give consent a paper altered out result. Not only did they lose business, but also common decency an kindness is non existent now adays. I would of given negative stars if possible.
