The only place I'd get a tattoo! Justun has done all of mine so far and I plan on going back here for the rest of them. They're super clean and professional and make you feel very comfortable while you're getting work done. Every time I meet someone who also goes here, we can't help but agree how much we love it

Experience was 10 stars from booking to the actual tattoo. Anastasia did a wonderful job with getting me in with my schedule. Justun took 3 ideas and made them one as a memorial for my brother… they listened as I shared memories of him and his artwork. The fact that so many of his favorite bands were repped in the memorabilia including Elvis, made it a perfect experience.

Justun created a perfect design to go with an existing tattoo. It turned out beautifully!!! The whole experience was great, 100% recommend!

In the Blood Tattoo is a standout in the sea of shops on East Carson Street. The tattooers here, Justun, CC, and Max are extremely professional and talented. The shop's vibe is super cool, I love the mix of antiques and flash on the walls in the waiting area. The waiting area is large and comfortable. They provide drinks in a cooler and snacks for guests! That's awesome because sometimes I forget to eat before I get tattooed (don't be like me). Justun, the owner, has an awesome station full of antiques, rock n roll, and motorcycle stuff - it's like a mini museum, so there's a lot to look at while you're getting tattooed! Max gave me a memorial tattoo for my best friend and was gentle, meticulous, clean and professional. I wouldn't trust anyone else with such a sentimental tattoo. I highly recommend In the Blood to anyone looking to get tattooed in a comfortable, laid back environment in the South Side!

I got two tattoos done here, and I will certainly be coming back for my next ones. Max was extremely professional, talented, and made the process easy. He designed a piece for me that I’ve been wanting for years and was unsure about the execution. It exceeded my hopes. I also emailed with Anastasia before coming in to see what pricing would be like and she was extremely detailed and helpful in her response. Couldn’t recommend this shop enough!

Went in for a walk in and immediately noticed how clean the place was. I was in a chair within 30 mins. CC did mine and it turned out amazing, exactly what I wanted. She was also very helpful with distracting my mind from the pain lol! Thank you.

Being that this was both our first time getting a tattoo, we were nervous. But, as soon as Justun started to talk to us, he was very genuine, and kind to explain the whole process to us in detail. He took the time to design exactly what we wanted. Justun and his staff were really nice and they kept the place very clean. Everything was clean and fresh and sanitized. We were comforted by that! My husband and I are really happy with our tattoos, they are just what we wanted! Thank you!

Super easy process. Max was very professional with recommendations on an artist for my piece. We went Mike who was awesome from the jump he listened to my concerns on sizing and placement and we came up with the perfect layout. I was inspired by my astrological sign and went with a reference picture I had found with Koi fish. Mike had a drawing already ready when I arrived and we got right to work after a few details on hidden elements within the piece and the expectations both of us had so that we were in the same page. I’m pretty picky so I appreciate his patience with my vision and loved the whole process. I can’t wait to find my next inspiration so I can go back to work with him again. Thank you In The Blood Tattoo Team you were all amazing!!!

I got a tattoo about 9 years ago with Seth. It seems like he may not be there anymore from what I’ve seen on the shop’s instagram page (it also seems like the shop pumps out some super badass pieces, especially recently, but unfortunately that wasn’t my experience). Almost every line was blown out which has made the piece completely unreadable over the years. There is a significant amount of scarring. My hope is that some day I can return and get a sick piece from another artist at the shop to redeem my experience.

Stop reading reviews and just go get a tattoo from these young gentlemen. They are super chill but really professional and quick. Coming from Misery Ink to InTheBlood is such a huge shell shock in the best way. I'm used to dealing with unprofessional lazy artists and since I started coming to InTheBlood I now realize what a real tattoo shop should be like. These guys are the real deal. Easily the best shop in Pittsburgh. You will not be disappointed.

I like it l, but it was a lot more than I expected especially since I had someone with me getting the same one and a half incher. Tattoo pricing Ij the so called red light district of Pittsburgh seems to surge, 225% guessed as presicely as possible when comparing cost and location of my other tattoos

Very good tattooing place

Justin did my sleeve from 2019-2020 and they are so professional, good quality and welcoming! I moved away from pittsburgh but I'd go here for any more tattoos if i lived there still.
