Studio 29 Tattoo

I tried to call to make an appointment to get my first tattoo. Which has great meaning to me, and my family. When my call was answered I was told that I needed to make an appointment for a consultation, but when I asked how to go about that because this would be my first tattoo, I got hung up on. It was very rude and disrespectful. I could have just been told that they didn't want to tattoo me instead of rudely hanging up the phone. It ruined my first experience of trying to get my first tattoo, so thanks.

I was very excited to find a female-owned tattoo studio in the area to get my first tattoo, and Studio 29 did not disappoint! Gerel is an incredibly talented tattoo artist and designed a very special tattoo for me that came out great. She is super down to earth, friendly, and explained everything about the tattoo process clearly, which I really appreciated. Very professional, clean studio. Highly recommend!

I have had 2 tattoos done at Studio 29 and can’t say enough great things about both women there. It was 2 great experiences from each one from the planning and artwork to the actual tattoo. The shop is welcoming, clean and comfortable. I highly recommend them and will be planning my next one soon and won’t go anywhere but Studio 29!

From the first consult through the actual procedure, Gail was very thorough, patient and has a wonderful "bedside manner" which I so appreciated as a first time tattoo customer. She was communicative before my actual appointment and great about answering my questions. Great experience which made me feel comfortable. Her studio is clean and health is a top priority, which I also appreciated. Her assistant Robin is incredibly nice as well. Highly recommend!

The first time I went I told Gerel, I wanted I love you in Spanish…which is Te quiero. I let her know I’m up for anything do what you do. She hooked it up unbelievably where she placed it in a heart and incorporated my sons and husbands first letter of their name in it. She placed it on my neck and she was so gentle before I realized it, it was over. Since then she had a customer in me. My second piece was day of the dead, I told her have fun with it and put your style in it. When it was time to get it done it looked totally awesome and I couldn’t believe it. The best part is her partner too Robin, they make you feel so comfortable and welcomed we talked the whole time for both tattoos. The second I sat for 6 hours but it felt like 3 because we were just talking and laughing. Loyal customer already have ideas for my next one .

The atmosphere of the studio is a little strange, it feels like somebody’s basement. Very dark and dusty with lots of Halloween decorations. Not clean and bright like you hope a tattoo shop would be. I had wanted this design for a couple of years. My artist drew the lines incredibly thin. The tattoo didn’t hold up well at all. It looked like Ive had it for half my life, even though it was only a few months old. It was so patchy. I didn’t care for the piece. I got it covered up a year later.

I had the best experience at Studio 29! Gerel was fantastic and designed my tattoo perfectly. The time and attention Gerel took to make sure I loved my tattoo was amazing and made me so excited to finally have it completed. I cannot wait to come back to have another tattoo done - I’m already doing research for the next!

As newbies, my daughter and I were honored to have Gail create the story, meaning and memories of skin art in the form of butterflies 🦋 She listened to us and gave us a lifetime visual we were looking for. What a neat experience! Thank you Gail, you are a gifted artist!

Very nice people! Very clean and following all Covid precautions. I am in the process of getting some work done and looking forward to it, these ladies know what they are doing and it is worth the wait!! *Update* just finished getting my tattoo, and I am beyond elated with the work!!! The quality and attention to detail were over the top great, I got such a quality piece. I will definitely be going back for more. Thank you so much!!!!

Just got a friendship tattoo with my best friends here and we all had a GREAT experience. Gail and Robin were incredibly nice and professional. Despite Covid restrictions not letting us all be together, the atmosphere was extremely comfortable. Honestly just a cool pair of ladies. Will definitely be going back for some individual pieces.

I just got my second tattoo done by Gail and I'm looking forward to going back for another one! Both times that I've been there were such great experiences! The studio was very clean and very welcoming and Gail and Robin made me feel comfortable from the start. I'm extremely happy with their work and I will definitely be returning!

Just recently got my first tattoo done here. Gail did an amazing job she made me feel so welcome and comfortable, and the technique and detail was amazing. I can’t wait to come back for more tattoos and I would recommend this place 100% to anyone looking for a tattoo.

Would recommend for anyone getting a tattoo; especially for first timers!! Gail made me feel calm and comfortable!! Very welcoming and friendly!! Talked me through the process and new exactly what i wanted!! Came out better than i imagined!!

I came to studio 29 for my second tattoo (and my sister came as well for her first tattoo!). Both of us absolutely loved the studio, as well as Gail and Robin. Robin did an excellent job designing my tattoo and taking into account everything I wanted in it and Gail did an amazing job getting it onto my body! My sister is also in love with her tattoo. These ladies also do an amazing job with COVID precautionary measures (my visit was December 2020). I went in for my consult immediately after my sister did (and we came together), and they still took the time to clean and sanitize the whole place before I could come in. Not only did I feel safe, but it was a great experience. I will definitely be returning for my next tattoo!
