Jess is the best tattoo artist in the midsouth. She is patient and very understanding, and her work is some of the best I have EVER seen. You can always know you will leave with exactly what you came for. She has done 2 on me, and I am already planning a 3rd.

I've gone here a few times and gotten several tattoos done by Kat. The shop is incredibly clean and everyone there was nice and professional. Tattoos are fairly priced. I will be getting all my work done there from now on

The shop is very clean! That's always my number one. The front desk person was helpful and really nice. Kat gave me a beautiful tattoo. They understood my design idea and did a really good job bringing it to life. I've had this tattoo for about 9 months. It has healed really well and i have recommended this place to many friends since.

Had an awesome experience here! This little tattoo shop is definitely a well kept secret in Memphis. I got my tragus, second lobes, and navel pierced by Tay and she was very professional and quick. She talked me through the process and explained everything, which helped calm my nerves. I will definitely be back in the future. :)

Never could get past the scheduling hurdles. Then they stopped answering when I called. I'm sure they're busy enough that they surely don't need my few dollars, so I ended up going elsewhere.

I got pierced here about 2.5 years ago and when I recently decided to get another, I went right back to this place. I really enjoyed the atmosphere and the piercer is quick and professional. I had to make an appointment this time around, which wasn’t a problem at all. In fact, I found it made the process run even more smoothly. I’ve never been tattooed here but all the artists have their own private rooms… which is something I love when I do get tattooed. You aren’t open for everyone to see, which makes it more comfortable. My only negative about getting pierced here is that I’ve never had a choice of jewelry but the pieces I did get were standard so it’s not an issue to keep them until my piercing is ready to be changed. I highly recommend this shop for a professional experience!

Met y’all’s “manager” last night. Didn’t catch his name. He approached me and my friends, and harassed us for a while. But had to show me where he worked since I’m covered in tattoos. Total creep vibes. I will NEVER come to your locations or ever recommend anyone to come!! I’ll let him explain why.

Tay did a great job piercing my ears! She did double helixes on both sides for me and they came out super even and evenly spaced on both sides. I highly recommend and would go again! :)

I was really excited to go to The Rook x Raven for my piercings after reading great reviews, but was disappointed in the customer service. I got both my belly button and nose pierced last week. I was nervous and extremely talkative (because of my nerves) and I felt like I was bothering the piercer with my chatting. She didn't offer much relief for my nerves. As she was getting ready to pierce my belly button I noticed she had already had a pink belly button ring out on the table. I don't like the color pink. I asked her if I could have another color and my question seemed to bother her. She hesitated and didn't give me an answer so I just told her if it was an inconvenience then the pink jewelry piece would be fine. I'm now sporting a pink piercing for weeks/months that I don't really love. The instructions/directions on the sheet of paper they gave me were not clear. I had to call and ask about high-waisted pants, working out and the process of cleaning. However, the piercer was quick to do both my nose and belly button, which helped the process go quickly and smoothly. She was also kind enough to take a picture of both before I left. As I was leaving, no one asked me if I liked the piercings or if I needed anything else. I work in customer service and know the importance of making a customer feel comfortable. I was disappointed in my experience at this shop.

Just had my ears repierced by Taye. I was nervous cuz I am a wimp but she helped with the process. Would recommend for piercings. And Zach was awesome with my husband's interest in another tatoo. We'll be back for those.

If you haven't looked into getting ink from Rook x Raven, you are sorely missing out. They were the first shop I looked into upon moving to the area and have become my instant favorite. I've had work done by Jesse and Kat. They were both professional, friendly, and talented. Do yourself a favor and trust the artistic instincts of the artists at this shop. You won't be disappointed!

This was my first time at Rook x Raven. Ian did my tattoo. He’s extremely gentle and precise. My only complaint is now all my other tattoos look like trash because his work is so phenomenal. I can’t wait to go back!

Wouldn't let me acompany my minor child in the store. Ask for owner to call me to explain and never called. - I asked for a call not an email and no you said wait in my vehicle.

I was finally inked with my very first tattoo and I couldn't be more pleased with my experience at this place. The place was very nice and clean. My artist, Kat, was super sweet. Her demeanor was so pleasant that it definitely put me at ease because I was little nervous. I love the final result! Would definitely recommend this place to others. Update: went back to let Kat do a touch up and ended up getting some color added to my tattoo. I'm BEYOND pleased with Kat"s work. Can't wait to get my next tattoo. Go check out Kat.
