Got my sternum piece a while ago from Vanessa. Every time I talk to people about it, I say that it was the most painful tattoo but the most patient artist. She was sweet, communicative, understanding, and cool on top of that. Highly recommend

I began my ink journey at Underground Art twenty five years ago. The same cottage on Young ; needless to say, after my most recent visit at the All Girl's Club of skilled artists, I suspect I'll be getting beautiful art on my body for twenty more.

The staff is always so kind and everyone there is always so very friendly. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants a great tattoo. The work of each artist is outstanding.

I have gotten several tattoos and piercings here, and I will not be going anywhere else! Angela has created an inclusive and safe space that is warm and welcoming. The staff is professional and diverse. Vanessa has done the majority of my work, and she is a joy to sit with. She listens and collaborates with you and does beautiful work. BUT that can be said of anyone there. They are all equally talented. It's a wonderful space. Go check it out!!!

I have been a customer at this shop for over twenty years. I come here for their diversity and passion for the art of tattooing. They are open and honest about their beliefs and feelings and harbor no toxicity inside their walls. They welcome everything but hate and are a delight to be around.

I had both my tongue and nose pierced here. I didn’t feel the pain I thought I would. I was walked through what was going to happen and the tongue no pain until it woke up. The nose felt like a big sneeze. I am thinking of a tattoo I want to get done here. One thing I am noticing is the extra care they are taking during this pandemic. I know of shops and people who aren’t as careful. Even though I am fully vaccinated I still wear a mask and I appreciate the venues that still require them. Better safe than sorry. I have referred and met many people who love this shop!!!!

Body art is a long term commitment created in pretty intimate conditions. Underground Art has the finest artists, the most beautiful studio, is impeccably clean, and is run in the most ethical, conscientious, and considerate manner conceivable.

Incredible, inclusive place with talented tattoo artists. Take their COVID protocols seriously and currently require vaccinations so you can go there and feel completely safe. Vanessa is brilliant in every way. Highly recommended!

Amazing artists and humans that love the health and safety of their clients and community.

They do excellent work and are very highly professional. I would recommend this shop to friends and family. I don't mind paying a deposit or getting vaccinated to have my favorite art tatted on me. I have had my navel pierced here and I also have had multiple tattoos done there. I anxiously waiting on getting a new tattoo soon! See you there!

Very safe and all inclusive spot to get tattooed or pierced. The staff are amazing. I recently had a vertical labret that I couldn't get out. I called around and no piercer was available to help me except for Quintin. They did ask if I was vaccinated for my safety and theirs, which I love! My piercing was out within minutes and I was able to go about my day.

I first had the privilege of finding Underground Art when the owner organized and hosted a fundraiser supporting a mental health nonprofit. Since then, they've been my go to shop for new tattoos. Every artist is wonderful at what they do and makes the entire process an absolute joy. For real, you couldn't ask for a more comfortable, professional, friendly, TALENTED group of folks to make your tattoo dreams come true.

Best place to get your first ink. Your last ink. And all ink in between. LOVE that they care about their staff and public health and take every precaution. I will return again and again.
