Arthouse Tattoo

I went to Arthouse Tattoo about 3 years ago for the first time & Mike is the best at his trade! He took everything I discussed and made it so much better than I thought possible. He is a true artist and I cannot wait until the current project is completed in the next few weeks.

Just finished my 3/4 sleeve here! Mike has been professional in every way. He is very passionate about his work, and always goes above and beyond to create beautiful pieces. He is super knowledgeable and particular about the way he tattoos. You can rest assured knowing you’ll get an amazing piece of work here, and not something you’ll want to ever remove. You seriously do get what you pay for with Mike. Strongly recommend!

Mike has done almost all of my tattoos, and each one his skills still stand out. His custom work is next level, even after I moved to Houston I still come back to Mike. His line work and attention to detail is amazing.

Absolutely fantastic experience with ArtHouse! Mike is great to work worth! Great work setup, very personal feel to it, ambiance is terrific, it's all you could ask for. Most shops feel like a restaurant where they're in a hurry to get you out and someone else in the chair, but Mike takes his time and isn't happy until you are. It's all 1 on 1 with nobody else screaming in the chair beside you. Very relaxing. Can't wait to get my wife's piece started on next week! Would definitely recommend over any "retail" type shop where they just take your money and get into the next one... 7 stars really!

I came to Arthouse Tattoo as a new widow for a memorial tattoo. Mike did an absolutely amazing job and elevated my idea to a true piece of art. This unthreatening shop is clean, intimate and very inviting. As an introvert I appreciate that the shop is set up to only service 1 client at a time. I also appreciate that Mike it the type to not push small talk if you're not in the mood, but is easy to talk too if you're feeling a bit chatty. If you're looking to walk-in and get a quick piece of flash, this isn't the place for you. But Mike is a consummate artist who is easy to work with and if given a little creative freedom, will deliver something beyond your dreams.

Awesome first time tattoo experience! Mike made my first tattoo better than I could have expected it to be. I gave him a very general idea, and he transformed it into a whole piece of art and added more intricate details than I even imagined. His shop is very clean and he makes the one-on-one experience amazing. He gives you all of his attention during your session, and is very responsive and follows up on your healing process. You can really tell how much he enjoys tattooing and how his years of practice show in his work.

Mike was great to work with through the entire process; from designing the sleeve art based on the ideas I had in mind to being flexible with scheduling. The work itself is incredible, I get compliments all the time. The studio itself is a great setting for tattoo work, very welcoming and private.

Great, calm, and private atomosphere. Mike is very knowledgeable in world history and tattoos and makes a good cup of coffee! I thoroughly enjoyed my experience at Art house and would definitely recommend anyone who is serious about getting a well designed and executed tattoo. You won't be disappointed!

I came in to the consultation appointment with a vague idea of a phoenix tattoo and left the last appointment with a magnificent work of art that I will cherish forever. I went to Mike with a concept i had been kicking around in my head for 17 years for a right arm sleeve. We met for 5 min. he listened to my extremely loose concept and designed a work of art. He honestly knew what i wanted better than i did. He took concepts i had and built on them and created a beautiful piece that i am honored to wear. The finished tattoo exceeded my wildest expectations. I took a leap of faith and trusted his vision and am so glad i did. The process was a journey from concept to finish, but Mike makes it easy. I looked forward to and miss our appointments, they were a perfect break from my normal day to day grind. At the end after our last appt. Mike presented me with the original drawing that he used to create the tattoo and i have it framed in my office. Thank you Mike!!

Got a leg piece done here. By far the best quality tattoo i have on my body, and the other work i have was top notch. Line work is superb, his choice in color is great, and the overall design was more than i initially envisioned. If youre looking for a quick, cheap piece, this isnt for you. But if you want someone who will put thought, purpose and dedication into giving you am original, unique and proper piece of art then i couldnt suggest someone better.

Mike is truly a talented and gifted professional. I gave him some ideas of what I wanted my left arm sleeve to be and gave him full control and artistic design. He shared some design ideas which were truly a work of art! He was the utmost professional, truly gifted and made me feel comfortable. Mike at Arthouse is top notch! His artistic view will create a masterpiece of a tattoo! I have had a couple of large tattoos done by Mike at his studio.
