I love this tattoo shop! As someone who moved from out of town years ago I had a hard time finding a good shop, until I found savage. I go every Friday the 13th for their tattoo deals and I have not been disappointed! I definitely plan to get a larger scale piece from this shop. Very talented artists who know what theyre doing. They got a little bit of everything. They have been nothing but kind, informative, and chill!

Came in for a rain check on a Friday the 13th special- they got super booked the day of but allowed people who didn’t get their tattoo a month to get the same flash at the same price, which was very kind! I had a great experience with Jerry. Got in and out in under 15 minutes, the tattoo came out really nice and the process was practically painless. Definitely recommend!

I started working here as an apprentice, 4 years ago back when Jon first opened up. It took me three years to find him. I was busing from shop to shop asking for apprenticeships, on every one of my days off. Out of all the people I visited, all the artists who refused to take me in, Jon is the most honest, pragmatic and honorable tattoo artist I had met in all of Austin. He eminates hard work, and will be true to himself, and your best interests, even if it hurts. If these traits don't appeal to you I would suggest you keep going to your current artist, but if so, give him a try on your next piece. He might surprise you. Even if today was my last day here, I can't pretend I don't owe him, and this shop for all the memories.

Didn’t make the cut on Friday the 13th so they offered IOUs which they didn’t have to do because no one ever does it and I hit up Mr. Savage himself and he was able to squeeze me and my friend in his schedule to give us our tats.
