Black Lantern Tattoo

First and foremost, finding anyone who are passionate (or have any integrity) regarding their line of work is a rapidly dying species these days. Was recommended to Jordan for black and grey portraits via co-worker. After doing my research I decided to go for a consultation to ensure we be on the same page. He told me a week in advance that he wanted to be "100%" for my Dimebag piece and instead I got 110% because he fine tuned details even after the completion to make sure he didn't miss any details. I chose the right man for the job as he nailed every detail such as the hands (which most tattoo artist are mediocre at for portrait work). To be honest the tattoo looks better than the reference picture. RIP Dimebag!

We went there to have coffee and study, in the front is a barber shop and in the back is the coffee shop , they also have items to buy t shirts mugs and food. Great all around place , plus thier coffee is awesome. I ordered a pumpkin drink ☕️ it was delicious. Plus the atmosphere was way chill. And the people there were so nice. The lady was very helpful with answering all our questions. 10 👍 up

Hi there! I love the Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure tattoo that pops up with your website. I’m hoping to book you guys in November and was wondering which artist did that tattoo if they are still employed there?

I went yesterday for a back piece that I have been wanting for a long time. Desiree was my artist and she did a fantastic job!! It was 7 long hours but she talked me through it and we were able to get it done all in one sitting. It turned out beautiful!! I love it. She even took time to add more to the top when she said it was missing something. You can tell good work means a lot to her. The atmosphere was great. They obviously love what they do there and have a great time while doing it. I will be back!!

Great Facility, AWESOME, Friendly & Respectful Staff

Black Lantern has some of the BEST tattoo artists in Corpus. They do quality, intricate work and their facilities are very clean and uniquely decorated.

Went in with Desirae to get a tattoo done. Tattoo came out good $600 later. Didn’t like how she and her other artist joked about using hérpe needles and other stupid comments made, didn’t want to walk out with a tattoo half done but maybe should have. Then had to call her about a skin irritation my tattoo broke out with days after. She told me she never heard of or had that happen before. That I should go to a Dr about it. Tatttoo eventually healed up, tried to call and txt her several times to get touch up done where skin irritation caused ink to not settle in correctly, of course no response. Good work, bad experience, definitely will never go back,, if your in the market for a good tattoo definitely shop around.

Sara is amazing!!!! I had a tattoo done by her amazing hands! I'll always recommend her and go back to her for tattoos, she is awesome artist or as I like to call her Bob Ross of tattoos 😀

Desire runs her shop impressively well. I had an appointment today with another artist and unfortunately he had other issues going on and couldn't show up. Life happens, right? Can't fault the shop or the person whatsoever. Desire offered to take care of my tattoo needs and was instantly on it (was extremely lucky she was there an available!). My tattoo was simple, just lines.. but she had it drawn and on my skin in less than 10 minutes, I swear. Her 22 years tattooing allows for such things! I can't wait to see where she takes my next tattoo, as we've already started planning. Thank you again, Desire. I've got a permanent reminder of my Mom.

Wow!!! I'm blown away with the talent my artist has. Not only is Black Lantern SUPER PROFESSIONAL but the Artists they have are amazing. I booked my appointment and waited a couple of weeks instead of going to an available artist somewhere else same day and im so GLAD I did. My art was totally worth the wait and the price! I had the pleasure of working with Sara and she killed my realistic heart!🤘 Thank you Black Lantern Crew and thank you Sara I will definitely be back.

My tattoo looked great had minor flaws in the hands and faces but the only part I was truly disappointed with was paying $600 before tip for a tattoo that took an hour and 10 minutes. Took 50 minutes to set up then an hour and ten for the tattoo itself. For the quality and time $600 was steep. I thought his $600 quote was him just putting my max amount as the quote but I was wrong. I was told never to negotiate with an artist so I just paid it but wishing I had spoken up or asked pricing details ahead of time. Artist was extremely professional and created an awesome piece!

I met an awesome tattoo artist (aarron sprauge)that started working here, and come to find out they have a plethora of amazing artists. It's very friendly atmosphere and I honestly wouldn't even think about going anywhere else. I'm over the moon happy with my artwork and I get tons of compliments on it. If someone asks me if I know a place to go, I refer them here. (You guys are amazeballs tbh)

A must see if you come to corpus. They even have big Bertha the tour bus. I highly recommend.

Got tattooed by Des about 6 mo ago, was waiting for it to heal up all the way to post a review. Very steady hand and was a good experience all around. The tattoo came out better then I pictured it. 10/10 recommend; will definitely be returning for more.
