You can tell that this is more than a job for them... You can tell it TRULY is their passion! The work I received tonight not only reflects Jeremiah's personal interest in meeting the image I'm going for, but also reflects his overall ethic and attention to detail. I like bouncing ideas off these guys, and LOVE that they are willing to give you their professional opinion about shape, size and placement of your tattoo around other tattoos. I made an appt to get my tattoo for last Saturday. When I got there the place was closed and no one was inside. I called multiple times with no answer and finally messaged them on Instagram where they told me that they had been exposed to COVID and would be closed for a few days. A courtesy call to your customers would have been nice before I drove over an hour to this place. Or even a sign on the door stating that they are closed. There was nothing. I waiting over half an hour at the place. I was very disappointed as this place has great reviews and I was looking forward to getting the work done there. Update: I did not get an email from the artist saying anything about you being closed. It is ridiculous that you are trying to preserve your presence to your customers by lying. I did not get any heads up that you would be closed via email or phone call.

A friend recommended Alexander from Black Heart Studios for my first tattoo and I am thrilled with the results! Alexander did an amazing job and made the entire experience relaxing and enjoyable. When I first met with Alexander I explained a general idea of the design I wanted, and also that I wanted the tattoo to disguise scars I've had for many years. Alexander's design is perfect and exactly what I envisioned. My tattoo is very detailed and absolutely gorgeous. The owner is incredibly egotistical and massively into hearing himself spout his own generically unoriginal ideas under the guise of being an intellectual. His work is good, but it’s something you could get done elsewhere either with way less headache involved. As his younger brother, he’s offered me free tattoos for years and I turn them down because the mental toll of being around him is higher than just paying someone else to do the same work for me.
