I am visiting Dallas for a couple of weeks to help out a family member, and decided on a whim to get a tattoo when I had some free time. Chose LSTC because of their focus on Traditional Style, and because they welcome walk-ins, and could not be happier. Bob Lawson did a fantastic job on the tattoo, and was super patient and accommodating while we figured out exactly what we were gonna do. The shop is clean and inviting, if you like tattoo parlors, and there is a great atmosphere. Everyone was super chill and it all made for a super positive experience. If you're looking to get some traditional work done, definitely go to Lamar Street Tattoo Club.

I found about this shop from a flash event & got 3 tattoos on my thigh in one day. Not only impeccable service, these tattoos are amazing. Due to this service and craftsmanship, I decided to come back to Josh and finish my leg sleeve. I had a great experience from the beginning with Lamar Street Tattoo Club! To start, I accidentally scheduled the incorrect appointment time when I made it online. I sent an email on a Monday (they were closed) and asked someone to please call me back so I could get the correct appointment time. Jake called me back promptly the next day when they were opened again and easily corrected my appointment time no big deal. When I went in for my tattoo, all the guys in there were nice and friendly and I got a good vibe all around. The place was clean, the decor was cool and fitting and Jake got right to work talking me through exactly what I wanted and offered some good advice about not just the inking itself but the future look of my tattoo for years to come. He was very friendly, efficient and professional the whole time; communicating with me, answering questions and just making good conversation in general. I even enjoyed the custom Spotify station they had playing. I would 100% recommend Lamar Street Tattoo Club to anyone who wants a reputable, clean, professional and cool place to get your ink. I'd also like to give a personal shoutout to Jake for the overall wonderful experience. I'll be returning for more ink when I'm ready for my next tattoo.

I am working on a sleeve with Jake. Man is an artist, he says he has been doing this for 27+ years. You can tell from his work that he will put every second of those 27 + years in your tattoo. I came to him with so many ideas, he does not just take your money and give you whatever you want. He will flat out reject your crazy ideas. Remember Folks, what looks good on a picture will not necessarily look good on your skin, but once he likes your ideas, he will give his 100% and give you a piece of art that anybody who sees it will inquire you about. I just have black and white tattoos, his special talent and artistry can bring the best out of anything though. The place is amazing, other artists are really good too.
