Cowboys Tattoo

Let me start by saying I never write bad reviews. I know a lot of times people have ruff days and i work in the service industry and completely understand but i went into get a tattoo and almost immediately felt uncomfortable. I didn’t like the way a design was printed and wanted it done differentIy and got an enormous amount of attitude. I have had five other tattoos on my ribs, spin, collar bone, shoulder, and wrist at different tattoo shops.That being said I am pretty used to tats but this four arm tattoo was the most painful tattoo i’ve had… my artist was just very heavy handed and wiped my tattoo pretty harshly with a completely dry napkin repeatedly throughout the session. Bleeding after a tat is normal but I have never bled this much or had my skin so inflamed. (no have not drank any type of alcohol, or taken any anti inflammatory) Not only was it painful the tattoo artist was extremely rude and unprofessional. I was charged $400 for a 1hr tattoo with no shading. Which I normally don’t mind paying large amounts for tattoos and normally tip around 40% but this was not a great experience all around. Definitely won’t be going back to him. He never introduced him self so i didn’t get a name but he had a long beard and and long hair and sagged his jeans pretty low. (just looked back and no one has gotten back to me about my tattoo, decided to leave pictures of the $400 tattoo. please don’t go here unless you want a tattoo you will regret)

Kendell was awesome! He had fair prices, design feedback, and was just a really nice guy. I did three script tattoos that copied handwriting, they looked great!! The entire shop really nice and clean. Keep in mind its a tattoo shop so you won't get crazy over the top service, but you get real people who love what they do! I'll be back and I will be sending people their way!!

I got my septum pierced here by Matt a year ago and he was really nice and professional. I came back here like a month ago to get my snakebites and my piercer was Lisa. I don’t recommend her, she was rushing a bit and not very nice. I’m also not sure if she knew what she was doing. I don’t recommend this place price wise, it’s expensive, but if you’re still wanting to come here for piercings stick with Matt.

Great staff and work. Always satisfied with my tattoos here, this is my third one. Will be back for the others I’ll get in the future.

I had an excellent experience with Charlie Hustle and look forward to many more! He was easy to book with and provided a calm and relaxing environment to get tattooed in. He was fast yet very efficient, love that immensely when getting tattooed. My tattoo is better than I imagined, I can't wait for more! Thanks Charlie!

Matt pierced my eyebrow and my friends Daight and did amazing I highly recommend only using him. Came in today for my friend to get her other daight pierced and Lisa didn’t know what or how to do it properly and refused to let us know. Pierced her ear in the wrong place, used a U bar for an eyebrow not a horseshoe bar AND stabbed the top part of her ear with the needle. She didn’t clean her ear properly afterwards either. Do NOT use Lisa as a piercer, learn from our mistakes.

Over price for 40 minutes of work

I went in for a nostril piercing and was greeted by friendly staff immediately. Lisa was my piercer and the wait was less than 5 minutes. She was very friendly, super professional and gentle. The process was much smoother than I anticipated and I would definitely go back!

Matt did a great job with piercings! Very professional, patient, efficient and made it relatively painless for my kiddo's ears. Thank you!

My daughter went here recently on her birthday to get her first piercing and I was there as well. The place is very nice and clean. The gentleman that did her piercing was awesome! He gave her instructions on postcare for her piercing. Told her what to used to keep it clean.

What a joke. The artist schedule with me then had ipad problems and said he'd reschedule. Only to never respond or schedule anything. Pooooor customer service. Don't waste your time or money!

Got my second tattoo done by Rafael and it turned out perfect! He is awesome and wickedly talented. I highly recommend him!

Rafael was my artist it was only my second tattoo and it was on my spine. He made the whole experience perfect and he perfected the reference photo I showed him. I recommend Rafael to everyone he has such great vibes and an amazing artist

This review is long overdue, Ryan has done 4 of my tattoos and they have all been above top notch, he is very skilled and extremely quick with his line work and shading, absolutely phenomenal, if I could give 6 stars I would, absolutely kills it every time, great communication, amazing artistry, wish Cowboys Tattoos had merch, bc I would wear it 24/7

I went in with a friend and her daughter, there was a bit of a wait due to a large group ahead of us. No worries, as Matt's professionalism, skill, and attention to the details were so appreciated! I would recommend him to anyone! I had 2nd and 3rd earlobes done, and my friends daughter had her 3rd lobe holes done.

Pierced my daughters nose and did excellent work waking her through the piercing, the cleaning, double checking the pavement with her and over all making sure it was a good environment for her first piercing. Would recommend this place.

Recently had my nose pierced in March 2022 at Cowboys Tattoo. After 8 weeks it wasn’t healing properly so I went in to have it checked. I was told by the guy that pierced it that I had possibly bumped it and to come back in a few weeks when it was healed. I kept cleaning it daily and still wasn’t healing. I finally went to a piercing only shop a few weeks later to have it checked because I knew something was wrong because it’s now been 12 weeks and still experiencing issues. (Bump and redness etc) The new place checked my piercing and told me it had me pierced incorrectly and in the wrong location (it was angled straight and not down like it should have been and was on the crease of my nose - continually bends so won’t heal and too high up for a hoop). While I was getting my piercing checked at the new piercing studio, someone else had come in with the same issue as me that had also been pierced at Cowboys. I do not recommend getting piercings here. Definitely do your research and choose a piercing studio and someone who has experience and the right tools and knowledge to do it right. I am now out another $80 to get this piercing removed so it can heal and then spend more money to get it repierced

This place is the best if you want quality tattoos and piercings! I went with my parents to go get a septum and nostril piercing for myself, while my parents got tattoos. Matt Hicks, the piercer there, was very nice and patient with me since this was my first time getting a piercing. So if you are a first time person like I was, don’t worry! Also, Ryan Sherwood, one of the tattoo artist there, was excellent as well. Ryan was not only an excellent tattoo artist (being quick and skilled in his craft) but also a great person as well who was very funny and kind to my parents while tattooing them. Overall, me and my parents both enjoyed this place and will be definitely coming back for more piercing and/or tattoos !

Friendly & honest staff. Very clean shop! Love my new tattoo! I'll definitely go back.
