So fill disclosure. My ex husband and I visited here a few years ago, and just walked in hoping to check out some artists work. I felt like the owner came off as standoffish and rude, which was a red flag for me, but he did explain that the shop is by appointment only. I stalked his art on social media for a while and finally took the jump and booked an actual appointment. I wasn't going to, because I felt like tattoo artists are still supposed to provide good customer service, but I'm so glad I gave the shop and the artist a second chance. I was very wrong. This tattoo studio is phenomenal. The vibe is still everything that you want from a tattoo shop, but better. I have never been so relaxed getting a tattoo. I really believe this shop is going to change the tattoo industry. The shop is so chill. While you're in the chair, the artist is focused on you and your art and experience. The owner of the studio is a gem and really a good guy. He's very art focused and ambitious. He's experienced and talented. I've also never had a tattoo heal so perfect. He truly knows what he's doing. This tattoo studio is an amazing addition to mount pleasant and east Texas and we're lucky he's in this area.

Love this shop & it’s clean, organized vibe. I’ve been going to Eric for several months now, working on a sleeve & some other projects. Eric is very talented & has his own personalized esthetic that compliments nature & all its beauty. He’s easy to communicate with & very transparent when it comes to what kind of tattoos he does & what kind of artist he is. If you want a work of art on your body forever, I highly recommend Eric at 999.

I can't brag enough on Nathan Harris. The building is clean and beautiful. The booking process was easy. My tattoo is amazing! Best tattoo experience I've had since I began getting tattoos 10 years ago.

Found Triple 9 and Eric Tuck through Instagram and booked for my first tattoo in December of last year. He was super thorough and even explained the process even though I've got plenty of tattoos so I knew how he worked (the stencil would just be the main part and all of the badass detail would be done on the tattoo). The tattoo ended up exactly what I wanted and he had an amazing technique. This healed the smoothest of any tattoo I've gotten. 7 months in and it still looks as dope as the day I got it. I'm about to drive another 5 hours for my next from him because his work is 100% worth it.

I’ve been a client of Nate’s for about 7 years and counting. He’s always been very professional and honest. We’ve developed a great friendship that people can only hope to have with someone they trust to permanently change their bodies. I can go to him with an idea and I trust him 100% to come up with something that I’m going to love. Since moving to Triple 9, I’ve only seen Nate flourish and perfect his style in a beautiful shop. 10/10 would recommend.

I’ve been using triple 9 since I turned 18. He has done 3 of my tattoos and 2 piercings. I value Nate’s opinion and work, he is very trust worthily and his shop is always clean. He will give you his honest opinion and has a true passion for what he does. 100% recommend this business, wonderful experience !

Did an awesome job on a tattoo I had wanted forever, but couldn't figure out how to design. During the consultation, Nathan asks you what kinds of styles appeal to you and location and size you are expecting. He then creates his vision and schedules the session. The conversations between us are usually through email which is what I prefer since I work random hours. The design was better than I expected and I am extremely happy with it. He is very light handed and I actually fell asleep through most of it which was upwards of 17-18 hours. (3 sessions total) ☺️. His shop is very relaxing and beautiful. I'll try to add my pic of the tatto with this review. I'm giving him a 5 star review for this tattoo, and will definitely be going back for more...because there is ALWAYS room for more tattoos.

Nate has done two tattoos for me. One was done 2 years ago and I still get compliments on it asking if it’s new. He is a unique artist who is very talented. The atmosphere is awesome in the shop. It’s a very professional place that will give you a great experience. I would highly recommend this artist and shop.

I have been tattooed here since they opened. They are immaculately clean,courteous and professional. If you follow the processes they have in place,the system is user friendly and efficient. You will not find a private studio in the area with as many experienced,talented artists in one building. They each have a specialty and if they are not the artist for you,they will get you to the right one. Their work is top notch and I will never have anyone else tattoo me.❤

I went in for a tattoo a few months back. Booking with Nathan was EASY, which is always a plus! I went to him with an idea I pulled from Google. He was more than happy to do it, and even suggested a few things to change, to make it more personalized and unique! I LOVED his suggestions and now I love this tattoo! It’s my favorite one I have. He’s very light handed, and takes his time to make sure he misses no small details. His pricing is just fine for the amount of effort he puts into his work. Literal high quality, beautiful work! He set the tone for my sleeve, and I am grateful for that! I can’t wait to get back into the shop!

Very cocky. I sent in pictures of florals and picked my artist because all his portfolio has is flowers. I didn’t like the design because there were barley any florals in it and he said he was gonna charge me $150 to add two flowers. I asked if he could free hand them and I guess he doesn’t feel confident enough to do so. I wouldn’t recommend this place unless you want an over priced, unexperienced, scared tattoo artist.

I may be biased but I give this place 9 stars.

I have 5 tattoos from Nathan & counting! He's an extremely skilled artist who takes his time with his work! If you're wanting to get a tattoo, which is PERMANENT, you should invest in his artwork.
