I know everyone expects all their tattoo experiences to be life-changing but this one actually was. Thank you JJ & Darlene for fitting me in during my time in Utah, for the incredible artwork and the wonderful atmosphere of safety, professionalism, collaboration, and of course legit art vibes in the shop space :) Looking forward to being part of the Prohibition family for years to come.

I can’t say enough great things about Prohibition Ink. I’ve had multiple tattoos completed there over the years and the staff is outstanding to work with. JJ is exceptionally talented and efficient. I constantly get compliments on the work he’s done for me, which includes roughly 50 hours worth of work (including a coverup). The shop is beautiful and very inviting. For the best art, style, and technical acuity, there no where better than Prohibition Ink.

Christine is the absolutely the best! 13 hours of tattooing over two days and was on point the entire time! She covered a tattoo I’ve had and hated since 1996 with an original piece she created, and added 12 other traditional tatts, some originals and a few killer old school tatts that are freakn sick! Totally stoked! Thanks Christine!!!

I had a cover up with Geoffrey and I was blown away by how great of an experience I had. During my appointment he took his time to make sure that the size was right to cover the previous tattoo. We had great conversation for the few hours of tattooing. After everything was all finished up he walked me through the after care and sent me on my way with a beautiful new tattoo.

Disappointed with my experience. I reached out to prohibition ink for a custom tattoo. I explained what I wanted and they told me that their apprentice Sage was capable of executing what I was describing. I met with Sage for a consultation. Based on my interaction with her it didn’t seem like she was comfortable or wanting to execute the tattoo I was asking for. However, she told me she would draw up some ideas and send them to me so I figured I would see what she came up with to see if it was the right fit. Between my first consult and my second consult she had an entire month to send me her ideas like she said she was going to. I didn’t hear or see anything from her until the night before my 2nd consult when she told me she had draw up some “flowers and things” but wasn’t able to view the photo’s I originally submitted for ideas. Honestly, the communication in my experience was really not great. She could have let me know she couldn’t access the photos sooner, she could have let me know if she didn’t understand what I wanted, or wasn’t comfortable executing it. Long story short. I’m disappointed. I won’t go back and I found somewhere else to get the tattoo I wanted.

We've been through a few artists over the years and I can say that JJ and his crew are such a different and better experience than we've ever had. Professional on every level. Thank you JJ.

Got my first tattoo here with Rat. I loved every minute of my experience. The shop was clean and the setup is awesome I loved the decor. Rat made sure I was comfortable throughout the process and was very clear on what we were doing and after care instructions. . My tattoo turned out so beautifully. Can't say thank you enough!

My experience getting my first tattoo from Geoffrey exceeded my expectations! He is so friendly and professional, and his art is amazing. The lines in my tattoo are so fine and done so so well. I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out, and I would definitely go back if I get another tattoo.

My visit to prohibition ink was not for the services they provide! I work at a bridal shop and they kindly let us use the stunning shop for a photo shoot!!! Darlene and JJ (the owners) are the sweetest people who were always willing to help us! The decor is unlike any other! I was also able to go around to all the artists station and take in their amazing work! I loved it all that I instantly grabbed all the business cards to show my boyfriend who is constantly getting tattoos! When I am ready for a tattoo I definitely know where I am going!!!!!

Prohibition Ink is hands down the best tattoo experience I’ve ever had. JJ is extremely professional and an immensely talented artist. He employs not only amazing artists, but great people. When people ask about my tattoos, I am proud to say I’ve received them from Prohibition. The shop is well decorated and spacious, but also private and intimate. The artists are very professional and have a passion for tattooing that shines through in every piece they create and every interaction they have. I look forward to every appointment I have with the team at Prohibition not only because I’m getting rad art on my body, but because I get to hang out at the shop with everyone and have great conversation and laughs.

JJ is a rockstar. Professional & high quality. I'm a huge fan of the second skin and the healing process that's a result. All around worth the wait and price tag.

I found prohibition tattoo off of a safe tattooing Instagram and have since gotten three tattoos here; each time being a great experience. Geoffrey perfectly captures my style and vision and makes it a fun environment. Can’t say enough good things about this place!!

Worked with Rat. Does excellent work very effecient. Extremely professional, understanding and accommodating. Beautiful studio decorated in a 1920s-1930s fashion. A bit expensive compared to other shops in the area but you get what you pay for and you're paying for the best around.

Geoffrey Sutton was wonderful! He completed a small, tattoo on my inner wrist that had a sentimental reason behind it. I am so happy with it! Geoffrey was so nice and kind. He explained everything and made sure I was happy with the end result. Totally recommend him.

Geoffrey did my very first tattoo back in October of 2020. They made sure I was comfortable and made sure I understood everything explained to me. I am very happy with my tattoo and can't wait to get enough money to get another one. Cause I will DEFINITELY be coming back to here for my second tattoo.
