Om Tattoo & Massage

They took my money for down payment, then got rid of the artist I was scheduled with for early June. I only found this out second hand from someone that follows Om on Instagram. The artist pages on the website were just deleted, with no explanation or contact info for them given. I contacted Om and was told to reach out to the artist to get my work done. I have had no luck trying to contact the artist. If you make a major change to your business, you need to reach out to your paying customers to help them out and not just leave it up to them to play detective. Update: they've reached out to me to explain how I fell through the cracks with and and are trying to make things right, and I appreciate that.

My almost 70 year old grandpa, my mom, and myself all scheduled matching memorial tattoos with Chris and I cannot thank him enough for the wonderful experience he created for my family and I. It was a sensitive and healing moment for all of us and my grandpa’s first tattoo and Chris was extremely genuine, compassionate, and personable. There were a few instances that Chris and staff could have become impatient or flustered, yet they were very understanding, professional, and accommodating. We all received well-done, steady, line work that has healed nicely and we’re grateful for a pleasant environment to have received this lasting memory.

Emily is absolutely amazing. She took time out of her home life to draw my tattoo and also pulled up references to know how the wolf and moon should look. This tattoo is half way done (color will be added once it heals) but I absolutely love it so far. I would recomend her for a first tatto, a cover up, or any tattoo need/want a person could have. Edit: I have seen Emily two more times and got the wolf tattoo (one picture in black and white and the other wolf picture is when the color was added) and the profile tattoo. At this point, Emily has done three of my tattoos and I cannot recommend her enough!

I loved going here to get my upper lobe redone after letting it close up 20 years ago. Ariel listened to my long-term piercing plan and made an collaborative decision about where to place my new piercing. It sounds like a small thing, but after the mall piercings of my teens where I crossed my fingers and hoped the placements were even (they weren't) and well spaced (they weren't) and wouldn't get infected (they did), having a professional listen to me was worth a few extra dollars. So I have great placement, no infections and room to grow. Can't wait to get my next piercing this summer.

Spontaneously decided to go get a new piercing with a friend, and Ariel was able to accommodate me right away! She was very patient and explained everything to me as she was doing it, while also teaching her apprentice. I wanted to get a third love piercing, but she advised me that my ears are too small - it would be possible, but cramped and wouldn't look as good - so decided to go with a conch and I'm so happy I did! Ariel did a fantastic job, and highly recommend her and Om. The shop was also very clean and organized.

This place is so clean and friendly! I felt like I was hanging out with friends for the afternoon! My artist Alex was super professional, fun, attentive, and beyond talented! I wish I lived locally or that they would move to Greenville SC. Beyond grateful for this place and my artist!

Ariel was the first piercer I’ve ever worked with (and I’ve had multiple piercings done at professional studios before) that explained every step of the process, including the anatomy of the spot being pierced (septum in this case). Absolutely 10000% professional! Finally have a septum piercing done correctly 🤘🏻 If you’re looking for a place to get your piercings in the Cville area, you should definitely make an appointment with Ariel!

The artists and piercer are SO FRIENDLY AND WELCOMING! Joe is a phenomenal artist and works in a timely fashion and is very meticulous which i Love! I will definitely be back

I recently got my sternum tattooed by Patrick! He did an amazing job made me feel extremely comfortable. He also made sure that I liked the design and placement before starting! Highly recommend the shop is clean and a welcoming environment all the staff are extremely friendly!!

Friendly, calming, and professional place for a piercing. Reasonably priced.

I'm not actually rating the place itself, but am instead expressing my dismay that I showed up there last week during the business hours listed on their website, only to find it closed. An hour wasted.
