I went in today looking to get my first tattoo which was also a very sentimental tattoo for me because it was for family members I paid my deposit and was scheduled for the next day to get it done so they could draw it up and everything. Shortly later they called me saying it was drawn up and I could get it done today if I wanted. So I went back they perfectly drew up exactly what I wanted and they got straight to it. They were very kind of it being my first tattoo and let me take breaks if I needed and talked me through it all. They are extremely military/ vet friendly the apprentice that did mine is actually a vet so it was nice being able to have military conversations while it was being done. When the tattoo was over it came out even better then I could have hoped and absolute work of art. The shop is also very well kept and has plenty of art work to get inspiration from. Will absolutely be going their for my next one.

Got a back piece done by Steve and he is very quick and efficient with his work and the price is definitely reasonable for what you want. Would recommend this shop especially if you’re on base

Be prepared to wait over an hour as a walk in. The owner was extremely rude. Calling me a liar. Baby, I have receipts. Over priced. Never again.

i just got my first tat in here last night and it was super fun! the guys all made it seem less scary and it went by so fast! it was a super cool place and was overall a rlly good experience

I came here for my first big piece so I was nieve about prices. I was charged $400 and the tattoo was 1/3 of the size it was supposed to be. Don’t rip off beginners because those are the people who will keep coming back for more. Do better.

Union Ave Tattoo Shop is the best place I’ve been to. Steve does AMAZING work, my last three tattoos were done by him and I won’t go anywhere else! Every piece he’s done is well thought out, he listens to me and what I want, and he is efficient. The shop itself is always comfortable to walk into and the rest of the staff is always so friendly and talkative. I really enjoy this place and will continue to go back there to get my work done! 5/5 stars ⭐️

My son is a regular. I visited him during labor day weekend and we got matching tats. My first. I love it. The guys are super nice.

I had a really great time at Union Ave ! It was a warm and comfortable experience. Everyone is very friendly and really great artists. I have gone to Union Ave Tattoo company for 4 of my traditional tattoos! The artist Paulie at the shop is an apprentice and has done all my tattoos. He is very talented for only tattooing for a short time. I highly suggest him, but everyone at the shop is very talented and can make sure you walk out with something super awesome !! I even got one of the GWYG tattoos out of their gumball machine for $100 ! And it was super fun just going with the flow (:

I have had a majority of my tattoos done here and have work from Matt, Pauly and Steve. Iv never left with a bad piece or something I didn't like. Pitch em an idea and they'll come back with something that exceeds your expectations EVERY DAMN TIME! 6/5 Stars, I literally bully my friends into going here and not one has had a negative experience yet!

HORRIBLE experience, will never go here again!!! As you can see even in their reviews how they talk to some of their customers is disgusting and disappointing. Just read through the reviews like I did!! Look at their responses to customers that have had a bad experience, they are not in the SLIGHTEST BIT PROFESSIONAL and they clearly have no training in customer service. Horrible business. And even in one comment I SAW THEY TOOK SOME GUYS DEPOSIT AND THEN IGNORED HIM. That’s ridiculous!!

This place was my worst tattoo experience. They tried to threaten me, to not leave a review, which I have proof of. However My voice will not be silenced and I will speak on my experience. Let me start by saying I’ve been to over 9 different tattoo shops , I’ve had 9 different artists work on me. I am not new to the tattoo experience. However the artist who tattooed me, was rude, and REFUSED TO STOP after asking multiple times for him to stop the tattoo. AFTER ASKING the artist TO STOP they refused !!! They told me “ I have another appointment coming in and I don’t have time for this” IF THEY DONT HAVE THE TIME TO PREFORM A TATTOO, OR STOP WHEN THE PERSON ASKS THEM. THEN THEY SHOULDNT DO THE TATTOO IN THE FIRST PLACE. They should from the JUMP say they don’t have the time. But how dare you permanently mark my body and tell me NO when I ask you to stop???? This place was horrible. I suggest if you want a tattoo do NOT GO here.

Been here for my last two tattoos and they’ve came out fire always! Staff was highly enjoyable to be around, they make you comfortable and the environment is super clean! Steve is great at what he does I would definitely recommend to a friend!

Was trying to come schedule an appointment but they closed a whole hour early? What kind of shop does that bruh. Lost my business for sure.

Wanted to get alittle bit of my previous tattoo touched up on my four arm and was charge me 600 dollars told Them no an wanted my deposit back and he walked away from me without saying anything stood there for another hour an got ignored. Would not recommend, for new soldiers or civilians.
