Seriously the best shop I've ever gone to. Everyone there is amazing, kind and skilled. The receptionist is so friendly and welcoming, the artists are down to earth and their skills are impeccable. I will always recommend these guys hands down. Jon is my absolute favorite, hes personable and his talent is bar none.

Found one of their artists post a flash and was able to quickly send my deposit and schedule over Instagram. While tattooing the design the artist asked if they could change one of the colors to a slightly different tone but this ended up very closely matching the border of the surrounding tattoo. I assume this needed to be done as I had more tan skin that wouldn’t have been suitable with the original, brighter color but am totally bummed it’s difficult to see/differentiate the tattoo itself now since the inner portion and border so closely resemble and are so much darker than the original they had designed. I probably wouldn’t recommend this artist for PoC unless just doing grayscale, they also didn’t follow their flash design at all (I.e. there was supposed to be gradient in the border and additional shading and colors in other areas, but they decided to forego that all). Just take a look at the artist portfolios from this shop and see whether they have any examples of their designs on tan-dark skin or are willing to do a color test (some Seattle area artists are happy to) before making your decision to come in for the full tattoo (unlike me).

I selected Dani, who specializes in pet portraits, as ideal artist for my first tattoo. She was extremely accommodating in adjusting contrast/ resolution of my single faded/ creased/ stained photo. I was impressed with her bedside manner and open communication style. She works efficiently and was accurate in her price quote, as well. I appreciated her empathy, as my discomfort increased midway through the 2 hour session. I plan to take acetaminophen 30 minutes before my touch up session in ~6 weeks.

Great studio with talented and diverse artists. They've got a large and inviting space with a view of the street. They've done a great job keeping the studio clean and keeping appointments spread out to avoid too many people grouping.

$$$$. The artists there are great. They do fantastic work. But make sure you clarify hourly rates with your artist. They don't have a studio rate. I received a great tattoo from an artist within the shop in 2019 at $100/hr, which is why I went back for a "want to do" piece that I liked with a different artist. It took just about 2 1/2 hours and I was charged $200/hr. I was taken aback about the price but admittedly it was my fault for not verifying price beforehand.

Scheduled with Darrick about 3 weeks out. We arrived 15 minutes early and filled out the paperwork. He would have been on-time but there was a printer/wifi issue that took a little time to fix. I think we got started 15 minutes late but right after the "issue" was resolved. Everyone in the shop was nice and friendly. They gave us suggestions on where to eat and which places we should see before we leave town. The shop was very clean.

Tattoo artist drew my design 4 days before the appointment and for some reason couldn’t get my adjustments made before the appointment (made appointment 3 months in advance). I never got an apology or an acknowledgment of me driving 6 hours to the tattoo shop, nor the money I spent on the hotel room, instead I got offered to come to my appointment and reschedule if I didn’t like the new drawing. Would recommend only booking if you live in the area.
