Sara is a wonderful tattoo artist! She spent time creating a unique memorial tattoo for me and her application was very detailed. She spent extra time and attention on my fine line tattoo. Her demeanor is so calming and her studio space is quiet and private. I felt at ease knowing I was in caring and experienced hands. Thank you so much Sara! Sara is amazing! Clean, professional, easy to get lost in conversation with while she ever so gently applies permanent art on your body! She is very talented and wants to be sure that all the details of your tattoo are exactly what you want. She went above and beyond to make a flash sale piece extra personalized for me. She designed a beautiful memorial tattoo for me for my grandpa. She is just fantastic. I Moved here from Utah and have been hoping to find a tattoo artist to make all my permanent ink dreams come true, and I’ve found her!

I loved working with Sara! She created a custom tattoo for me of my dog, Spaghetti. He is a little gremlin with a big personality and I wanted his character to show through in the illustration. Sara was so patient with me throughout the design process and adamant that the final tattoo end up perfect for me. She also let me try on a few stencils in multiple places to make sure I was happy with the placement. And the studio is really cute, quiet, and private. Overall I had a great experience and would highly recommend La Mort Tattoo Studio :)

I've been patiently looking for an artist who can draw thin lines and botanical style designs, so when I found Sarah & saw her gorgeous work, I knew she was the tattoo artist I was waiting for. She is thoughtful and intentional about the design process, she helped me get just what I wanted- and she exceeded my expectations! She is a phenomenal artist who is very talented, skilled, and professional. Her shop is clean, beautifully decorated, and she takes all precautions to ensure a safe, sanitary, as well as comfortable experience. Sarah has a light hand, and an attention to the tiniest details. Sitting for the tattoo was actually relaxing! She really provides an elevated experience from start to finish-and she provides excellent aftercare instructions. My tattoo is gorgeous and I am so happy with it! I highly recommend Sarah and La Mort Tattoo!

Update 7/8/2022: I visited Sara at La Mort for the second time this year! I love to swoop in whenever she has a cancellation. She’s always happy to entertain my quiet personality and plays a fun variety of music in the shop. She is so incredibly conscious of her client’s design aesthetic and helped me create a beautiful arabica coffee plant design for my coffee-themed forearm half-sleeve. Will always head to La Mort when I’m craving an ink fix! Sara is quirky and understanding. 5/31/2022: Sara was such an incredible tattoo artist to work with. She posts on her Instagram when she has appointment openings, and I was able to snag a super last minute appointment! She took time perfecting my espresso portafilter design, helping to solidify it’s uniqueness while allowing it to remain true to her art style. Her passion is so apparent and fills her lovely studio, which is in such a cute downtown location - parking was inexpensive and accessible. Her shop is very well-organized, clean, and comforting. I loved the variety of music played during our session and her wall decor. Will definitely be returning for more work while I’m in the Spokane area :)

My regular tattoo artist is in NC and means a lot of travel and planning ahead for me. I had yet to find a shop in Spokane that I wanted to make my new tattoo home. That is until I found La Mort. The space could not be more comfortable and welcoming. Sara is absolutely amazing in all areas: design, comfort, cleanliness, aftercare, all of it. And it helps that her Halloween-all-year vibe is right up my alley. I Have gotten three pieces from her in just a few months, and I’m already planning my next ones.

I have several tattoos from different artists and different shops and, start to finish, this was my best experience by far. From working together to bring my idea to life (truly collaborative) to getting the work done, everything was so intentional and thoughtful. And the work itself is beautiful. The lines are clean and intricate. I already set my next appointment and can't wait to return. If you're looking for a place to get work done in Spokane, you can stop looking. This place and this artist are it.

I can’t say enough how happy I am that I found Sara! She is a sensational artist that pays attention to even the smallest of small details, and takes great pride in her work. Sara is a true professional and makes sure that her clients are well taken care of more than any artist I’ve ever been to, with cleanliness, safety and comfort as a priority. She aims to please her clients and listens to what artwork they would like to have done and will work with you to come up with an incredible piece! Something also that is remarkably special about her is that she truly cares about the people that come to her and she is a very kind and gracious soul, and a bad**s woman doesn’t let obstacles get in her way.

I cannot recommend this business enough! I've never had such a positive experience throughout the initial communication, consultation, design process and final appointment. Sara was absolutely incredible! She is so personable, I had the best experience at her shop. I’ve had appointments where the artist seems sort of bothered that I’m there; where I’ve just wanted the session to be over. Not this time! I never wanted to leave! And her art is GORGEOUS! She really takes her time and pays attention to detail. If you’re looking for an amazing and kind artist who is fantastic at tattooing, look no further!
