I had Kharma do a coverup piece on my neck. The tattoo turned out amazing and I am super happy with it but I really want to address my thoughts on Kharma as a person. I went to this appointment by myself which gives me a lot of anxiety but right off the bat, he made me feel comfortable. He just has one of those personalities that instantly makes you relax and that's really important I feel to have when you're putting a permanent art piece on someone's body. I went in thinking I was getting a specific tattoo I had sent him but we decided to go a different direction because he was honest with me and told me he didn't think it would result in the size of tattoo I had in mind (would be bigger than I had wanted). I gave him another idea and within a matter of minutes, he had drawn up another idea which is what I ended up getting which was perfect! What impressed me was he didn't care that a smaller tattoo would cost less....he cared that I walked out of there with an art piece that I would love. You will not find that with every tattoo artist. Secondly, I had to lay down on my side for him to do the tattoo on my neck and before he even touched me, he asked me if I had any triggers or anyplace around my neck or upper body that he needed to be careful with and touch with extra care. He let me know he would have to put pressure on my neck and didn't want me to be uncomfortable not only physically but mentally. That earned a lot of respect from me. In the end I got an amazing tattoo and an artist I will definitely be coming back to in the future.
