Pink Floyd is my absolute favorite band. I asked them if they would tattoo a design from that band on my chest. Will, one of their artists, tattooed that design you see on this page. I was so impressed, I went for another tattoo a few months later. I'm about to head there for a third visit in a couple of days. They do excellent work. If you're ever in the Newport area and is interested in getting tattooed, I highly recommend Anchor Steam Tattoo Gallery.

Went to go get my first tattoo today and I had Will. He put a quote on my quad and he did an fantastic job!!!!! He is so cool and great to work with. He would give breaks when neccassary, he is very chill, and great to talk to. Highly recommend not only this place but Will as will!

My friend and I got our first tattoo’s here and they did an amazing job. They made us feel so comfortable, calm, and welcome! Not to mention the tattoos came out AMAZING and healed so well! I had barely any scabbing at all. Would recommend them to anybody.

She gave me exactly what I asked for and it came out 100% perfect. Amy at the front was kind and a pleasure to work with for setting up and scheduling. Can't wait for my next visit to AST. Front desk staff was rude and told me no to an appointment that she had given me 30 minutes prior. I have gone to this shop twice and loved both experiences and she probably would’ve treated me differently had she known this. Bad attitude and will sadly not be coming back to this shop because of this interaction with her. Love the artists but the poor customer service made me walk right out.

Charlie Petty is simply amazing! Been getting tattooed since 1994, hands down most gentle and caring artist!!! Super fast, excellent freehand cover-up work, and superb black and grey shading. Shop atmosphere, cleanliness and staff, top shelf. Already scheduled my next session!!!

I loved this tattoo parlor! I have always wanted a tattoo and finally was brave enough to do it! Pete(our tattoo artist) was amazing! We had a group of 5 and we made an appointment, all 5 of us had our art done by Pete and he took great care of us! The entire staff was welcoming and friendly from start(first phone call), through emails of ideas and designs, till the end! The building was clean and comfortable! Highly Recommend!
