Providence Tattoo is easily the best shop I've ever gone to and I am super glad I decided to start coming here. Jon Gorman has always done his work exceptionally well and I've never been disappointed. I know that he is willing to work with any ideas I bounce off him and any modifications he makes to what I want are for the sake of the quality of my tattoo. As long as I live in Providence, Jon will be the artist I go to and the one I recommended to anyone.

Did a great job on my rose tattoo. Even drew some up for me there so I had options. Only thing was that they don't let anyone back there with you, I wanted to be with my friend getting her first tattoo but I wasn't allowed.

When it comes to inking your skin permanently, there is a lot to consider. One of the key challenges is finding a talented artist who you can trust to hear your ideas, give you constructive criticism, and design/implement the artwork with style and grace. Dennis Del Prete, the owner of Providence Tattoo, is just that person. Years ago his work caught my eye. Intrigued, I scheduled a consult and gave him permission to go wild. In return he created a masterpiece on my forearm that still puts a smile on my face to this day. Since the first session I have had 3 subsequent visits to completely transform my skin into works of art. The level of professionalism in the shop, the cleanliness of the space, and the customer service is unsurpassed. If you are considering new ink, look no further than Providence Tattoo.

Whilst visiting Providence on a Lovecraftian homage, I wanted to get a tattoo to mark the occasion and add the memories to my skin. I popped into the parlor and got a booking for the next day. The artist (I think it was Jon?) was amazing from the word go. We discussed what I wanted, threw some ideas about together, and came up with the finished design in about 30 minutes. A further hour later I had my new ink permanently ethed upon my lower arm!
A very relaxed atmosphere, where you are made to feel welcome and at ease. I shall return here for yet more Lovecraftian ink when I visit Providence again in 2017.
