Great work, I have gotten 20 tattoos from them so far

I have posted new pictures of the tattoo after it has been reworked. As of now things look a lot tighter and bolder. I really appreciate the way Sean handled everything he was very professional about the whole deal. unfortunately there are things on this tattoo that really cannot be fixed like the money roll not being the realistic type I was looking for, the king being a jack and the cards at the bottom not being correct. however if this heals up nice ill probably be bumping this up to 4 stars. Sean was able to bolden up the shading in the skull and make the poker chips much better and even though the roll isn't what I was looking for he made the roll look a hell of a lot better too. Thanks again for being so professional about everything.

A friend of my a few years back got one of the coolest tattoos I've ever seen from Dave. Remembering my friends tattoo coupled with the 4.9 star rating Renaissance has online I decided to get some work done. I gave Sean my rough idea with some references that were tattooed by Dave. About a week before my appointment date I called in to ask for a sketch of my idea. A woman answered and told me this was not possible. She said I would have to wait until the day of because they were busy and it may have to be drawn up that day. I was totally cool with all of this. the day of I showed up on time for the last appointment slot. Sean was still working on somebody and I waited an hour before we began talking about my piece. I was expecting him to have a drawing ready to go but to my surprise it was not even started. After we talked about some details he began the drawing. the drawing took a maximum of ten minutes. it basically was just a quick outline. Extremely worried about the lack of detail I talked over the details again and was assured it was just an outline and they would be added in during the session. because I have seen great work come out of this shop with my own eyes and how highly rated Renaissance is I put my trust into Sean thinking this outline was going to be turned into something awesome. Time and money were no issue. I was willing to pay for the best and sit for as long or as many sessions as need be. The end result is a tattoo that looks like it was a rushed piece from the end of a long day. Shading has a scratchy look to it and goes past lines in spots it should not. the poker chips and money roll have a complete lack of detail and most people don't even know what they are until I point it out. the lines on the cards are not straight. the "king" is actually the face of a jack and the cards underneath the money roll are not even really fixable because of where the diamond was placed. I'm just really bummed about the whole deal. I'm sure some things can be tightened up and fixed but I was not expecting this bad of quality from such a top notch shop.

My girlfriend and I got two sets of matching tattoos here. Sean is a great artist and a very friendly guy! He's easy to work with and does beautiful work. The shop is awesome, clean and tidy. I can't wait to go back for more!

I was shopping around tattoo artists for my tattoo and found Sean and Renaissance Tattoo to be the most professional and had the best work. Showed up day of and Sean put together a great piece from all the ideas I had. It came out better than I could have imagined. It was very laid back there, they make you feel at home the entire time. Could not be happier with the quality, professionalism, and results from Sean and this shop.

My daughter turned 18 and wanted a tattoo. This place is great. Sean did an amazing job and his recommendations really helped in making what she wanted even better. His personality really helped ease her nerves. He can takes jokes and dish them out too. Thanks Sean for being able to handle my sassy kid! I highly recommend this place. The whole staff is great. They will not disappoint.

I had my 1st tattoo done there in the early 90's and am still a client today! I've had multiple done by Sean he is awesome!!! I always reccomend them! I'll never go anywhere else. They are clean friendly and great artists! Just stop in you will see for yourself.

Had a great experience at Renaissance tattoo studio in Woonsocket Rhode Island. The staff was friendly and very social and they were very professional. They booked my first appointment ahead of time and logged it on their computer system and even called me the day before my appointment to remind me. They were also very prompt and started my appointment at the time that I had booked without a wait!

The shop was very clean and very cool atmosphere with artwork and their previous work all around the shop.

My tattoo artist was Sean Reynolds and he did a fantastic job! He was extremely personable, professional and extremely talented. I’ll be back for another one very soon ! Thanks Sean
