AWESOME!!! I can't stop smiling, Shavon did an amazing job on my cover up. The only thing I regret is not coming here first. She made me feel welcome and like family. I'll NEVER let anyone else tattoo me again.

Shavon is an amazing artist with an incredible eye for art and design. She drew such a beautiful and detailed design for me which was pretty much exactly what I had pictured in my head! I love that she only does custom work -- it feels so special. I had an awful quote on my arm and she covered with an amazing mehndi design. Shavon is such an interesting and fun person to be around; with 26 years of experience she certainly knows what she's doing! The studio is so clean and welcoming and she has the cutest baby dog and talking bird. She also offered me a delicious bottle of water -- it's like being in someone's home, with relaxing decor and plenty of odds'n'ends to look at. This is a wonderful place to spend a day. I will definitely be back!

My best friend came to get a tattoo after getting recommended and the lady rudely asked her "What are you doing here?" Not sure what business owner thinks that's ok. But it's not. It's unprofessional and uncalled for. That kinda attitude can be a problem if you come at the wrong person like that. Couldn't have been me.

I had two tattoos in mind when j walked in with kind of a deadline. I was moving to fl but I knew of her work and needed a piece. She was amazing. So friendly, she graciously fit me in when she really did not have too. It's been 4 years and I still get compliments all the time on both pieces. She designed them herself. Puts a piece of you and her in her work. Now that I live in fl, she would be well worth the drive folks.

My husband and myself went to this place on saturday. The girl up front acted like she didnt have a clue as to what she was doing. Couldnt give us a price nor a time as to when we could get our piece done. She went and asked one of the artist who was very rude and yelled through out where everyone could hear that she wasnt gonna stop what she was doing to give us a price for the piece and that we could wait. Needless to say we left and went to tattoo trillionaires who was very helpful. We were in and out with both tattoos in a hr and a half. I wouldnt recommend rude people to stab me with needles . She needs a attitude adjustment and a course in customer service.

I got my first tattoo at Purple Lotus and the experience exceeded my expectations. Shavon is so sweet and hilarious. The only reason I took off one star is because of the $100 minimum. My tattoo took under 5 minutes of actual tattooing but i still had to pay $100 which is unfortunate in my opinion. Would still definitely recommend Purple Lotus for larger tattoos, but maybe not so much for something simple and small.
