Black Sparrow Tattoo Studio - Moncks Corner

My wife and I both got tattted by Heart Casket and are blown away. Mine took a little longer than expected and I asked to make a change after the original concept was already done. Chris (Heart Casket) was completely fine with making a change and didn't make me feel bad for doing it.

He was easy to talk to and attentive to everything I've said. I didn't look at mine until after it was finished and I was literally in shock. The stencil / outline was hard to tell how it would look but Chris is insanely talented. I feel fortunate to have this on me and I hope I can get a few more.

My wife went after me and ended up staying at the shop a bit later alone with Chris. Dude was AMAZINGLY kind and respectful. My wife came home saying that it was so awesome that he was attentive and made it clear he wanted to make sure she was safe and what not. I only mention this because it was really late and dark. You can see outside and the shop is completely safe, just always cool when people go out of their way to make sure you're comfortable.

The shop has a dog there, I believe named Kiss and she is a trip. Very calm and relaxed but welcoming for the pets. Everyone seemed to joke with each other and make a great atmosphere. Some co workers asked about random food in their fridge and it was no issue to share. It almost seems unfair that for my first tat I had such an amazing piece done and had such a good time. I was at the shop for 7 hours and in the chair for the better part of 6. I cannot say it enough, this blew me away.

Check out heart casket and if he can't do something I'm sure he'd point you to someone who can. I will be back.

KC is an amazing artist. He did a half sleeve and upper back on me and I love it. Very Very detailed. The staff of Black Sparrow are kind and funny and very talented as well. I would most definitely refer others to this location to receive work done by either artist. Im definitely going back.

Chris was an absolutely amazing artist ! He payed attention to detail and knocked my Zeus out of the park! I’ve already got another date for next week and can’t wait!!

Spent the majority of the day there yesterday with a half day session getting my left arm done. It felt like I was just hanging out with friends shooting the S***. At times I had a hard time sitting still trying not to laugh at some of it. When it comes down to the professional aspect, I couldn't have wished for better work. KC is an amazing artist who runs a very clean shop. I'd happily recommend anyone looking for real artwork to Black Sparrow.

So I called in on Monday and was asked to come for a quote. Which was simple and sweet, got set up for a tattoo on that Thursday. Which would work out for my schedule, I fly out that Friday. Showed up on the of for the tattoo and the artist wasn't there( he had something come up, which is cool I'm not mad about that. We are all human) KC the owner stepped up and did something I don't see a lot of anymore. He made sure I was seen that day. he asked me to come back later on that day which I did. He worked me into his schedule and hooked me up with one of, what's going to turn in my favorite tattoo. I will be a forever customer. His work is great and his handling of his business on point. Five stars. All the way, I hope this business booms and i will be back for more ink..

KC did my sunflower tattoo on my thigh and he blew it out of the water! It looks amazing and I am in love with it! The whole staff is professional and easy going! I will definitely be going back and I recommend this studio to everyone!

So today I went into the shop around 4ish wanting a quick little outdoors piece because I love the mountains and the water. An artist there named Gunnar met me at the desk and within a few minutes had this awesome piece drawn up. All I can say is this guy knows his craft and did an awesome job adding a great piece to my ever growing collection. Will definitely be coming back to this shop for more ink. Very friendly and fantastic service!

Got my first tattoo and I couldn't be happier with it! Awesome work by an amazing artist! I'd highly recommend this shop to everyone, and I will definitely be coming back for more work!!

Went in to cancel my appt and get my deposit back and they refused to refund my deposit saying that it was nonrefundable when I was told when I made the appt that if I cancelled 24 hour prior to the date that my deposit could be refunded. Doesn't stick to what they say wouldn't recommend.
