I was a walk In for my first tattoo. Rick was available and did he drew up a custom tat for me on the spot! I love it. It is perfect! The guy at reception was so friendly. He was amazing actually. The whole experience was amazing! Already thinking about my next and Rick will be my guy! If I could give a higher rating I would!

My camera skills are not but Jamie is absolutely amazing. I brought him photoshopped trash and it's by far my best tattoo. The detail is outstanding! Cant wait for him to do more work!

Got a piercing done by Dawn this weekend that I've wanted for such a long time and she made the experience perfect! the shop in general looked clean and very chill and inviting. Dawn made me so comfortable and confident and gave me easy instructions on the healing process, which I was previously intimidated by. Will definitely return for anything else I want done!

Dawn is absolutely amazing and her apprentice was so kind! I finally got my other nostril pierced and it was quick and easy. I'm so looking forward to her doing my vertical labret in a few months! Alter Ego is by far the cleanest and most professional shop I've been to.

RICK was awesome! Listened to what I wanted and had it drawn up in minutes. He actually free-handed the palm on my leg then tattooed.
The shop itself was exceptionally CLEAN. A huge win to me. Very laid back while still professional. Welcomed us even though we were late evening walk in's.
I will post a pic but keep in mind that it is still healing.
Update Sept 2018: Rick did the swallows on my shoulder. Added a pic. It looks amazing! I get compliments on it everywhere I go on how perfect it is.

I have been to Alter Ego before in the past when they were at their other location. We didn't even know they had moved but we found the new spot easily. The guy that we have gone to before wasn't with them anymore so I told them I'll just take anybody and they set me up with Dan. I got a pretty simple tattoo but I absolutely love it. Dan did a perfect job and I will definitely be back for more work. (It's still healing btw)

I found dawn on TikTok and learned she was near by where I just moved to and wanted to get her professional opinion on my existing piercings (changed jewelry with her) and can I say she is the most Sweetest, kind, nice, down to earth person I have met in Tennessee! She was so knowledgeable and passionate about what she was doing I felt so comfortable with her. I will definitely be going to her from now on for new piercings/Advice! You will not be disappointed going to her! Thank you Dawn !

MY daughter went in for a cartilage jewelry since she had lost one. She asked the front desk if they think it would fit her cartilage-she was advised it would. Well it didn't and after bringing up my concerns to the manager-he stuck with the no return or exchange policy. What bothered me is he stated there were Two employees who had the same story that they told my daughter to come back when the piercers are there. My daughter is trustworthy and doesn't even care about the $30 since its my money lol so no reason to lie-she stated only one employee was there. How do they even remember her? so their policies are more important than the customer experience. My advice is not to buy jewelry there unless you are positive it will fit right-don't take their word unless they are the piercing artists. What happened to the customer is always right? I am in service industry and i would've state the policy but made an exception or came up with a compromise-or said i am sorry if there was miscommunication...NOT A FAN
