Studio 617 Tattoos

I've been tattooed (so far) by both Mikey and Kris and to say these guys are some of the of the best in the game is an understatement. Not only does their work speak for itself, their personalities make what some would call a... "painful experience" super chill and down right pleasant. Soon I'll have something from everyone over there, but in my absence go see them for yourself and nab an awesome work of art from anyone in their crew. You will not be disappointed.

I cannot say enough good things about the people at this shop. They are amazing artists in every regard, and they are always willing to work with you. The shop itself is always kept clean and organized. They make you feel comfortable and the art is always amazing. Super recommend!!

My artist was Mikey Newblood. He was professional and upfront. He told me what he was using and opened his packages for the needles next to me so I knew they weren’t used. His work was flawless and I couldn’t be happier. Brittany at the front was amazing and professional. I met the shop owner Kris and another artist as well, Tucker. I felt the entire experience was top notch and I will be back for a second in the future to finish the work. I can’t express how much I enjoyed this studio.

Everyone here is an amazing artist. I get tattooed by the award winning Olivia and she is so nice and really takes the time to make sure you're happy with your tattoo. You know when you go to 617 you'll be getting an original piece of art, not something off of pinterest.

My experience with Studio617 was awesome. My second time coming in for a tattoo. Olivia did an awesome job designing and tattooing me. Brittany was informative on tattoo care and everyone there was very nice and made me feel comfortable. Thanks guys!

I've had tattoos from a couple of the artist here. They always make me comfortable and do quality work. I'm so glad I found them!

My son and I were at studio 617 May15 for our first tattoo. Brittany the office manager is awesome to work with and very helpful! Tucker was the artist that did our tattoos and did a great job. He listens to you about what you want and is helpful in making suggestions on what he thinks would look best! In the end it’s your body and your tattoo so he will do whatever you want. Very professional and clean. Everything he used was unwrapped in front of us and you didn’t have to worry about cleanliness or things being sterile! I would highly recommend studio 617 to anyone wanting to get their first tattoo or add to what they have. You may have to wait for awhile to get in but in my opinion it was worth the wait!

The whole vibe here is of professional artists. I searched all over Knoxville looking for the shop and artist I wanted to work with next. There was just really no competition once I found these guys.

I won't get a tattoo from anywhere else! Great staff, awesome artist, even better people! I had an idea and it came out way better than I thought it would! I plan on getting a few more when I can!

I've been looking for a new female tattoo artist, and this place did not disappoint. From the communication to set up a consultation to the professional nature of the entire staff on the day of service, I cannot state how pleased I was. Although professional, this studio was also laid back and friendly. My artist, Liv, is truly that - an artist. Her drawings and recommendations exceeded expectations, and I'm glad I found her incredible talent. Definite return customer and could not recommend this business enough!!
